Nothing compares, as this is a high quality pillow that is well constructed, butter soft, lofts like down but contains no animal products, has baffled sides for better fit, and has a small zipper at one end so you can take out or add stuffing to make it whatever level of rigidity you want, even comes with an xtra bag of filler! I was not expecting two pillows of this quality at this price but yes this is a two-pack. The fill is nice and loose so the pillow can be configured exactly the shape you want. You can stuff more pillow under your neck and leave the middle flatter & looser under your head so you’ve got a soft head bowl to support your neck & keep spine aligned while back sleeping. And it’s just as easy to get it under your neck to fill in the open space between neck & shoulder and keep your spine aligned when you turn on your side. It’s even soft enough to hug & sleep on your stomach. There is a diagram and easy instructions on how to try it out for proper neck alignment and assist you in deciding whether you want to fill it with more or less. Goodbye traditional one size fits all pillows, the pressure and heat of memory foam, the allergies from down, and the inflexible pillows that crook your neck unnaturally, leaving you with stiff neck, spine pain and headaches! A simply fabulous product all around, I’ll never sleep on anything else again and will stuff it into a bag when I travel - can’t leave home without it!

Excellent, comfortable pillows

This pillow is perfect for my husband. It is pretty much flat when you lay on it. That’s the way he likes his pillow. It’s nice and soft. You can add fluff to it or take away from it with the convenient zipper. I added all the extra fluff they sent- which wasn’t a lot to split between two pillows. I did happen to have an older pillow that I took quite a bit of fluff out of and added to mine. That helped a little but I am still not happy with my pillow. The search is still on. I will keep it until I find what I’m looking for.

Both my husband and I are super impressed with these pillows. So much that I bought another set for our bed and will continue to add more to our guest bedrooms. I waited awhile to post this review since this is an item that you really need to use for a few months to see if they hold up. Well, they do. I have the original Eden pillow from them and I've yet to sleep on it since buying these. They are super soft, fluffy and easy to maintain. Just fluff when you make your bed and that's it. I did add the extra fluff since I do like a more filled pillow. We do not wake up with any neck pain and are able to sleep on our sides, back or stomach. I will say though, if you do sleep on your stomach, you may need to take some of the fluff out. We're mostly side and back sleepers. If you want a good cloud like pillow, this is it. The materials have yet to break down and seems to be holding up very well. The materials are high quality. No odor and you can use these on the first night. I took each pillow and pulled apart the fluff material by hand ensuring I got as much loft as possible. I didn't tumble dry. Took maybe 15 minutes per pillow and was worth my time.

I have had to wonder if these were actual Coop pillows. I would not purchase these for $5 at a discount store! I didn’t read closely that this is an alternate down filler. I can find no similarities to down that I could attribute to this filler, in feel or comfort, They are flat and lumpy, there is not enough of the extra alternate lumpy filler enclosed to even make one pillow satisfactory. I have Coop pillows that I love, I thought I was ordering more of the same for a guest room. I ordered these expecting Coop luxury for guests and did not actually open until I was ready to use them. Unfortunately, I missed the return window. Lesson learned. I would absolutely not recommend these for any purpose. The filler is horrible. I will not be using this version of Coop pillows anywhere. I honestly thought they must be counterfeit

they definitely need more filling. the bag of extra filling that comes with is only enough for one pillow. they seem well made and filling is easy to adjust. the good thing is the don't get really hot at night. the bad news is they don't stay cool very long. Even on sale they are overpriced. if you are looking for a pillow that stays cool all night this is not it; however, they are comfortable once you add the extra filling and even though they are not really cool they don't get really hot.

I have been on a bit of a pillow spree lately trying out different pillows. I tried the regular coop which would flatten too much where my head would lay after a while. I then tried the Eden which I was perfectly happy with for a while as it is more soft than the original, yet more supportive at the same time; however, for some reason that pillow sleeps pretty hot. I decided to try out these Essence Cooling pillows with lower expectations, but from day 1, I found the comfort of these pillows to be exactly what I was looking for. They are light weight, fluffy and soft yet still supportive, and they do not sleep hot like the Eden. I prefer more flat pillows so I was able to take out a bunch of filling and have a lot leftover from both pillows. They definitely came overstuffed in my opinion, but I like having extra filling to make an extra pillow. I bought a king size coop crescent pillowcase and was able to make another pillow with it. I really like the cooling cover on the Essence pillows though and I wish they could make a crescent pillowcase with the same cover. I also tried out the regular non cooling Essence pillows and found that they were significantly more soft than the cooling version, but they were also less supportive and caused your head to sink too much. With how soft they were, I didn’t have to take out any extra filling and it did seem almost under stuffed at first but fluffed up the next day. I ended up returning the noncooling Essence, and just kept the cooling version because I prefer the type of fill it came with and the cover more. Also just felt you get more bang for your buck with the amount of extra filling I had after adjusting the pillows. With the noncooling version, I would not have enough fill leftover for another pillow since it is so soft that you need more filling to compensate. After trying out the different versions of the coop pillows, it made me realize that I prefer the fiber fill as opposed to the pieces of memory foam. I realized memory foam traps a lot more heat and tend to be heavier, while I enjoy lighter pillows that stay much more cool. I recommend the essence cooling pillow!

Saw this when Dr. Breus was on the Diary of a CEO podcast and thought I needed to try it. Admittedly, I am a pillow shopper as I could never find one that is "just right," until now. Dr. Breus said, look for a pillow with a gusseted edge so it supports your full neck. Make sure it has enough stuffing to keep your neck and spine at a neutral angle. Use foam or fill, whatever you prefer as long as your neck and spine stay in line. He happens to use Coop pillows, which was an added nudge to try it since they aren't cheap. I had been waking up with neck and shoulder pain recently and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! This pillow is amazing! It is just the right amount of stuffing to feel luxurious while keeping my neck and spine in line. The curved shape hugs me no matter what side I lay on, or if I'm on my back. It is, without a doubt, the most comfortable pillow I have ever used. As an added bonus, it comes with extra stuffing so you can adjust it to fit just right. It's not cheap, but a good night sleep is worth the price. If you're on the fence, do it! You will be so happy that you did!

Pillow is too thin even with the extra phluff added

I honestly never write any reviews.. and seeing how this has 500-600ish reviews.. i figured if there is anyone struggling to find a pillow.. not that cheap overly-soft $40 bargain-bin kind... or that overly-expensive, memory-foam, help me im sweating all night because im laying on a latex brick that costs $200 per pillow.. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE PILLOW.. these ones. Hands down. Soft, airy, FIRM, adjustable, BIG and most importantly .. COOL & FRESH. Bruh. These are hotel-heaven at home. Bought these for everyone. Recommend these to everyone. Fantastic product!

We really like these pillows…break-in seemed faster than most pillows and I’m really picky. My wife didn’t take any stuffing out, but I took a bit out of mine on two occasions before I was satisfied. Hold their shape well, head sinks in a bit but gives great support. These were worth the price in our opinion, very happy with them.

These pillows are quite nice, I gave them 4 stars only because it seems I have an allergy to Down otherwise they were quite comfortable. They are a square style which helps to support the neck. Unfortunate they did not work out for me
