I had recently purchased one of the big name brand filters, but it was too powerful and loud. It created so much splash that flies found a new breeding ground with endless water (splashes). When I first installed the Hygger, the noise was loud and my heart dropped a little. However, I remembered that it has a great feature where you could adjust the water flow. Well, I did and voila, nice and quiet. It also had the perfect amount of bubbles. This is a day review, so if it stays this way, I'll be a happy happy camper. Excellent product!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! *by on Reviewed in the United States 30 October 2025* It is pretty quiet compared to my other filter, it’s almost silent. It’s been keeping my tank crystal clear.I wouldn’t use it for smaller than 10 gal.The flow knob has good control. It’s gentle enough to keep shrimp or guppies.I’ve had it for about two weeks and so far it’s been going strongIt comes with just one filter cartridgeAnd it clears my floating plant’s roots. Which are an eye sore and now they’re gone!Cleared my tank in about two days ## Frequently Bought Together - hygger Aquarium HOB Filter 315 GPH for 40-75 Gallon Fish Tank Power Filter with Adjustable Water Flow Extendable Intake Tube External Hang-On Back Filter - hygger 10 Pack Replacement Aquarium Carbon Filter Cartridges Hang On Back Filter HG149 HG099-S --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/682137397-hygger-aquarium-hob-filter-315-gph-for-40-75-gallon](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/682137397-hygger-aquarium-hob-filter-315-gph-for-40-75-gallon) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
