Transformers Age of the Primes Commander Class Aerialbot Silverbolt, 7-inch Converting Action Figure, Robot Toys for Ages 8+

As I completed my Menasor, what better way than to complete his enemy, Superion? So, I got him and the rest of his flying brethren, and I admit I play with this guy a lot more than Menasor. You can hold this guy like an action figure and never worry about him falling apart. Now the main issue is his leg peggers, where one of the leg-bots will attempt to disconnect at any chance. Every other bot? Perfectly fine and pegged onto him. Now as for Silverbolt himself? Admittedly I barely play with him, whereas I can play forever with Motormaster. The base mode is just as useless, but it's better looking than the command post MM uses. My only gripe from here is the lack of Autobot Combiners vs the infinite amount of Decepticon ones that exist. It's a pain to transform from jet to weird space jet to Superion Skeleton, but he is very fun to play with. Get him before he suffers Motormaster Syndrome.

When I got the toy, I was ecstatic. First, the toy in jet mode is fantastic. You can transform from robot to jet and back. Looks very much like the cartoon character. I didn't need to look at the instructions or watch videos to figure it out. Probably the only thing I dislike is the backpack of the toy itself. The backpack is made up of the arms and legs of Superion. It forms the rear end of the jet when combined with Silverbolt. It is easy to connect, but the wings of Silverbot are a little difficult to connect to the rear body. So I just leave it off to the side and play with the jet. The backpack is easy to take apart and when you combine with Silverbot, you form Superion. It's quite a massive improvement over the Combiner Wars version. Superion looks like the cartoon character. Very detailed, from head, arms, body, legs and feet. You can pose it in a variety of ways. Two things to worry about is when you change Silverbot from jet to robot, is the tail. It's a little tricky to doing it properly. Some people online have complained that it takes a little force with the tail end to change it properly. The other thing is Superion's antennae's can pop off from the sides easily. I don't know, why Hasbro didn't permanently make them attached to the head is a mystery. Combining with the other two jets so far is very easy. They connect to the arms and legs without issues. For the price, it's worth it. I got the toy for under $99 here on Amazon. Online, scalpers are selling this figure for more than it's worth. Don't buy it from them. But it here on Amazon. In the end, I plan to buy the rest of the team to have all the Aerial Bots.

This is my first combiner team in my collection, I’ve wanted a Superion figure since I was a kid. G1 wasn’t what I wanted and 3rd party masterpiece was way out of price range. For being a mainline figure, this is awesome. Silverbolt is a nice voyager size figure, he just plugs onto the combiner frame to form Superion. Some people don’t like the combiner parts but I’m not sure how you would achieve a combiner mode this big with accurate sized individual robots. Very well sculpted, the joints are nice and tight so he’s fun to pose. Overall I would recommend getting the whole set.

If you are a Transformers fan, this is a must have for your collection. Silverbolt's alt mode is immaculate, although his feet are in plain view under the wings. Bot mode feels a little plain, and his gun does feel a little stubby. But what I, and likely everybody else bought him for is the combined mode. And he looks so good, even without the limb bots attached. The articulation is great, the head looks spot on to the cartoon, and the problem I have is that the ratchets on the joint are a tad weak. All in all, this guy makes collecting all five pretty worth it.

Transformers Age of the Primes Silverbolt is a pretty cool looking figure. He transforms into an airplane and has a large connection vehicle/battle station that makes him an even larger airplane, though, it's very awkward looking. Silverbolt is the leader and central figure of the Aerialbot team. The large connection vehicle combines with him to form a much larger robot called Superion. The are 4 other Aerialbot team members (Age of the Primes Air Raid, Slingshot, Fireflight and Slydive sold separately) that connect to Superion to complete the transformation. Silverbolt is fun to transform and has decent articulation and well made. The price is pretty high for the figure, mainly because of the large connector vehicle/battle station which contributes to the new combiner process and engineering to make the figure look more accurate to the cartoon series.

When I first pre-ordered this figure I believe it was last year, I was looking forward to it. Until it got cancelled back in April. I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to get this figure again until he was listed again on Amazon. He came at the end of June which I was happy to get him. He arrived on time and the box he came in wasn't damaged. The Aerialbots is one of my favorite combiner team so happy to have him. He looks really good alongside both Slingshot and Air Raid. He has great articulation, scales well next to the other Aerialbots and he had an eyes transformation. i haven't transformed him into Superion until I get Fireflight and Skydive. But overall I would recommend this figure if you are a fan of the Aerialbots.

Silverbolt is back true to form. Excellent G1 rendition and tight joints make this a winner. His face sculpt is great. Looks exactly like he did in the G1 show. He looks like he stepped out of the screen but in smaller size 😀. The plastic feels of high quality but what stands out more for me is the tightness of his joints and how he is put together. The pins and joints hold all the limbs well together. In the recent past, Transformer figures had been suffering with loose and floppy joints but this figure is a fortunate exception! He is definitely fun, I will say that. I guess the real only cons are his size and back pack, but they are nit-picks. He is so well made, I wish he was taller. Maybe 8" instead of 6.75". His proportions are almost perfect too. In robot mode, the plane fuselage is very visible but only if you turn him around or see him from the side. It's not bad at all though. His wings even fold backward so I can hide it and that makes his outline sleeker and more streamlined. However, with his wings open, that is his true G1 depiction. Both ways look excellent. Transformation is fun and straightforward. Everything goes well where it belongs and he has minimal gaps. The only real ones are under his forearms but they are hard to notice unless you look for them under his arms. The heel spurs are an excellent detail - they come out far enough to give him fantastic stability due to his alt mode back pack. I almost gave him 5 stars. If Hasbro continues on this path, I will definitely purchase the Combaticons as well. Thank you, Amazon and thank you Hasbro for a job well done. The box arrived in excellent condition too. This is the transformer of my dreams, always wanted him since I was a kid, this is the most accurate version I've ever seen, still missing 2 to finish superion!!

While rhis version of Superion has its flaws in combined mode (the $50AUD jets attached to the calves being an obvious one), this is a solid, well made combiner base, and is so much more stable that the Olde Schoole Combiner Wars/POTP combiners. I am not a fan on the random "shield mode" that seems tacked on, and the weird plane attachment is an afterthought at best, but Silverbolt himself is great. Regarding the Amazon buying experience; I ordered this figure at 1400pm on Monday, and it was here when I got home from work at 1630pm on Tuesday. It was delivered in good shape as well, but, the ridiculous speed in which it was delivered to my location, 300km away from the nearest capital city, was astounding The figure itself is worth it on sale, and would be especially good if you don't have an already completed version of Superion. It is getting harder to find the other Aerialbots at a good price, and it is absolutely galling to pay such high procoes for awkwardly attached pieces that hang off of the back of the combined forms legs, (I can't express how ridiculous I find this) but it is just satisfying to look at.

L’ensemble est robuste et bien fini. Silverbolt est très ressemblant au dessin animé. Ma réserve venait initialement de la partie faisant le squelette de Superion. Elle est massive quelque soit sa transformation alternative. Question de goût mais je la trouve à l’usage très appréciable et elle donne une allure de croiseur interstellaire à Silverbolt. Superion en lui même est magnifiquement articulé et capable de toutes les poses dynamiques. Reste que les clapets des jambes rendent les deux aerialbots servant à les refermer invisibles et inutilement nécessaire. Il s’agit bien d’un intégrateur et pas d’un combiner. Mais le résultat final est une claque.

It’s intuitive, satisfying, and doesn’t feel like you need a degree from Shockwave’s lab to figure it out. Aesthetic on Fleek: That classic Concorde-style jet mode? Slay. The paint apps are crisp, and the robot mode captures that heroic "I’m afraid of heights but I’ll do it for the girls" energy perfectly. Combined Potential: Even without the rest of the team yet, you can tell the connection points for Superion are going to be legendary. He’s got the "spark" of a masterpiece. The Cons: Minor Turbulence Backpack Realness: He’s got a bit of a "kibble" situation on his back in robot mode.
