For our next child I will do the same thing from a much younger age, because I think it establishes a nice patterned light to fall asleep to. My two year old loves when I bring out the turtle, place it on the floor and turn out the lights! **Q: Does turtle need to be washed after being left near baby for fortnight?** A: You do not need to generally wash it just for hanging out. I generally try to give it some distance from the baby, but you can hand wash it by basically spot cleaning the whole thing. I had to do this once when my whole family got the flu at the same time and everything got covered in vomit. I just used some soap and water on a wash cloth and a little oxyclean pre-treater spray, and it was great. **Q: Does the blue turtle have the option to stay on all night or is it only on a timer?** A: I have the turtle, bought for my 1st child, now 8 years old, and using it now for his sister who is two months :) it is on a timer for about 45 mins also. **Q: D the projected stars move, or are they still?
