Rocket Larkspur - Imperial Mix - Large 1 Ounce Packet - 8,000 Flower Seeds for Planting - Consolida ajacis

It is difficult to get larkspur to come up BUT these came up!!! I had purchased 3 other packages from Walmart and none sprouted. I am so thankful and excited as they will be beautiful!

I have a small side yard that’s technically the responsibility of my HOA. The rabbits have had their way and I have seeded it not many times and put up sound devices. Moral of the story - there isn’t a grass seed for my area rated over 4.3-4.4 on Amazon. That says something. Do better companies!! Well this one didn’t I’ve finally grown grass in my bare spots. This I would recommend after many failed attempts.

We had really good luck with these seeds. There are lot of them, but a high number of them did actually germinate and mature and they look great. They are a good value for sure and easy to grow.

Did not germinate at all :-( Missed return window.

I completely forgot I bought and planted these in my memorial garden, they are flourishing without any special care because like I said I forgot about them. They are beautiful and tall. And flowering by the dozen. Will definitely be buying these seeds again soon

I planted these last fall and theyre coming up great. I just threw them down and watered them the seedlings lasted great through a lot of snow this winter and are flowering now so nicely! One side of my yard gets alot more sun. But the ones in more shade are starting to bloom.

AMENDED REVIEW. --- THE LARKSPUR DID START TO GERMINATE IN MOST ALL THE LOCATIONS WE HAD PLANTED. IT JUST TOOK MUCH LONGER THAN THE OTHER TYPES OF SEEDS WE HAVE ALWAYS PLANTED. TO THE SELLERS CREDIT, AFTER I POSTED THE ORIGINAL REVIEW, I WAS OFFERED A FULL REFUND WHICH I WILL NOT ACCEPT NOW. Larkspur grows native in our area. So we thought planting this Rocket Larkspur would work well for us. Picked numerous open sunny areas on our large property, roughed up the ground well, broadcast, and lightly cover with a very thin layer of mulch. Then spray watered daily. We also did the same planting in existing containers. And "nothing" has germinated at all outside. ----- Also, my wife each year, very successfully starts vegetables and such by seed indoors on a big table by a very large south facing window. This year she included a tray of containers of this Rocket Larkspur. All of her regular plants germinated and are ready to transplant. Only 11 of the Larkspur seeds germinated out of well over 100 planted. Nothing outside and very little under controlled conditions indoors is a lot of effort and time for little in results.

Just planting the seeds now! A bit late! Can’t wait to see these beautiful colors blooming. Sharing some w/ my neighbor as well.
