initially I had no great expectations, but was very pleasantly surprised. I fitted the item when delivered and found complete comfort straight away. The fitting is straight forward. The belt fits around the hips not the waist, so feels a little awkward at first. There has to be some adjustment, as we are all different, but I found the belt comfortable. I have now worn the belt for three days and the relief has been wonderful. There were reviews, which stated the padding was too hard and large, I have not found this the case, but not all hernia's are the same, so this must be kept in mind. For me, this has been an item that does as it states and I would recommend it. Now having worn this item for a number of week and I have found as my hernia has weaken, the pad has been found to be too hard. I have now removed and replaced with a sock for comfort. It is important, not to wear the belt too tight, as it could, as it did in my case cause sciatica (pressure on a nerve in the leg, leading to pain).

It is no exaggeration to say this has been a life changer. Having looked for belts, some of which looked like some form of straitjacket, I decided to give this one a try because it looked simple in its design and many reviews are positive. After months of daily pain this has massively improved my quality of life because pain is no longer an issue when I am wearing it because it provides good support. I found it easy to put on from the begining. It took me a day or two to get used to adjusting it to get it just right but after that, no problem. I find it easier to put on when I am lying down. Another important point is it is comfortable and I quickly found it to be virtually unnoticable when wearing. I have since ordered another. Quality appears good and good value. Size wise it fits me well. I am certainly pleased with this product.

Not particularly comfortable to wear for long periods of time, especially when sitting down, but nonetheless, it's designed to do a job and it works. A lot of products you buy with velcro, the velcro is pretty much useless after a week, but the velcro on this is really strong. So if you've recently joined the groin hernia club, which is a club I don't particularly enjoy being a member of, until you can get it taken care of, definitely would buy this product.

Very effective and more comfortable than expected. I am lucky in that I don’t need to use the strap that goes between the legs. So far not using the strap has not made the truss get out of position. Very good quality and arrived in a couple of days of ordering.

Hernia pad is too bulky. Would be good to have an additional thinner pad

Got to say this hernia belt is unbelievable. Fantastic quality for the price, and really has helped me carry on doing the things I love. Doc told me not to go to the gym or play golf while I wait for my Op with the NHS. No date yet, but they are hoping to fit me in before 2037. Anyway, I strap my belt on and it keeps your hernia nice and flat and supported, bit of a wedgy feel with the under strap, and it needs to be placed correctly to the side of your Crown Jewels for maximum comfort, but after a few training sessions and a few 18 holers you get used to it. It’s not too evident you’ve got it on, but due to the position it sits you do have to make some adjustments to your belts or pants to accommodate it. Overall I’d give this a 10/10. I can lift light weights and play golf without being scared I’m doing more damage.

This is a total game changer for me and let me reclaim my sense of normalcy. I have my surgery scheduled, but desperately needed relief in the interim due to the continuous dull pain radiating from my injury. I haven't had any issues with bulging or ongoing pain since I've started wearing it daily. It hides overall well under the clothing. It can make peeing a little awkward because of the position it takes over the body, so keep in mind that you might want to use the private restroom stall instead of the urinal at work or in public. The materials are typical of these types of generic Amazon or store bought orthopedics. If you want to be able to live your life comfortably after suffering a hernia, this belt/strap/pad combo will do that for you.

It fits as expected. No pain and convenient to use more than 6 hrs per day. Awesome quality and worth for it.

Je la porte h24. C’est un soutien physique mais aussi moral, en attendant l’opération. Je recommande. Les velcros sont solides également, pas eu de déchirure. Ne serrez pas trop l’entrejambe par contre, effet string garanti :-) Bon courage à tous ! Ps : Avant l’achat de la ceinture, j’avais rdv avec un médecin généraliste pour vérifier l’hernie (qui a déjà été « vérifié » rapidement aux urgences), faire les ordonnances pour l’échographie et opération… il n’a même pas regardé mon hernis, juste vérifier les résultats de la prise de sang que je connaissais déjà.. je lui ai demandé si une ceinture pouvait être utile et il m’a dit non, juste d’éviter les choses lourdes et la muscu… et bien, si on vous conseille la même chose, je vous recommande d’acheter une ceinture car entre le soutien moral, physique, je pense que ça peut éviter des complications comme un étranglement… Je constate que l’hernie « diminue » légèrement aussi mais je vais pas attendre si guérir naturellement est possible. L’opération est simple et rapide. À plus !
