I'm on my 4th can of this self tanner, and b.tan is the brand I know I can count on. I'm on the sunny side of 70 with pale skin and this mousse gives me great, long lasting color with little effort. I find the foam easy to apply - with a mitt - and it gives me a streak free finish. There is little to no odor that dissipates quickly. The color is even, not splotchy, and is a great tone that pulls neither orange or green on my skin. I apply in the morning, give it 15 minutes to dry down, then dress and have not had any issues with transfer to clothing. The color emerges through the day and leaves a nice, dark tan, that lasts 3-5 days, making me less self conscious baring my legs in public. Quick, easy, inexpensive and works well!

This e.l.f. lip liner honestly exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. I was looking for something affordable that still had good pigment and stayed in place throughout the day, and this checks all the boxes. The formula is smooth and easy to apply without tugging on the lips, which I really appreciate. It glides on evenly and makes it super easy to define the lips or slightly overline for a fuller look. The color payoff is rich right away, so you don’t have to go over it multiple times to build it up. I also love how well it pairs with different lipsticks and glosses. It helps prevent feathering and keeps everything looking more polished and put together. On its own, it also looks really nice for a more natural, lined-lip look. For longevity, it holds up surprisingly well for a drugstore liner. I still need to touch it up after eating or drinking, but overall it stays put longer than I expected. For the price point, this is an easy repurchase. It’s one of those everyday essentials that just works and makes your lip products look better overall.

I am usually kinda afraid of self tanners but I decided to try this after being influenced on IG... so glad I did. You must be VERY careful with it or you'll turn DT orange but if you use a light hand and wash it off like 6-8hrs later, you're good. It says you dont have to wash it off but I find it works best that way. I spray this all over my body, not just the face, in a nice even wet layer then let it really soak in for a good 6hrs (7-8 if i have the time, like overnight) then rinse it off. I then have the most beautiful natural looking tan, like I was at the beach all day. Its a great product and I will definitely repurchase this. Its also good for just spritzing the face in between days when it wears off a bit. I use oil cleansers and they strip away fake tan products so I use this 1 or 2 days a week to keep my face the same color as my body. I also use it on my hands n feet where my tanning lotion tends to turn me kinda orange. I HATE that so I never apply tannjng lotion to hands n feet. I uae this spray instead. Its very multi use for me and I love it. For like $10 its a great product and I highly recommend it to anyone who self tans. Not sticky once dried. Neverrr transfers to clothes or bedding AT ALL. No scent at all. LOVE!! For reference, I have VERY light skin. I will burn in the sun then tan. I rarely RARELY go in the sun anymore. My color is mainly all from self tanners. I use Beauty By Earth tanning lotion and this B.Tan spray (mainly) on my face. These pics are of me in natural light with both products on. Looks pretty natural imo. Without it, I am VERY pale.

I was prepared to hate this product, but WOW, just wow. It is fantastic and I will definitely be buying it again and using it in my regular line up of summer beauty products. And you can't beat the price. For how affordable this is, I was not expecting it to be this good. Let me be clear. I haven't used self-tanners in a really long time. I'm talking maybe 5 years, but probably more like 7 to 10 except for a brief foray into using a light product that I bought a yard sale that didn't work at all. And let me tell you that either this one is insanely good, or in that loooong time frame of my absence, self tanners have improved. A LOT. They used to stink and be super sticky and gross and orangey. This one is not. It is amazing in every way. So I'm going to write a review and it's going to be long for the people who really need to know what they're getting before they get it. If you're not that person, this isn't for you, sorry. I'm also going to include directions for all the people out there who will try this half-heartedly and say it didn't work. That bugs me. So if you want to know the TRUE scoop and all the details on this product, read this, or skim it at least. First of all the only, and I mean ONLY, reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the naming conventions are idiotic. They're meant to be cute and edgy with their flirting with profanity but the honest truth is it just makes it more confusing. This is important because I am super pale and I need the most bang for my buck with color. I had to Google and click on two websites to figure out that the one that I got, Tanned AF, is level 4 out of 5. There is a darker one if you want that, but I'm too lazy to Google it again and figure out what it is. That said, this stuff is amazing. It is literally the least smelly of any tanner I've ever used in my life. Now maybe tanners have improved in that way (remember I haven't used one in a really long time) and they're all like this now, but I don't know. I'm just impressed by how little it smells, even after it sits on your body for a while. The next thing you need to know is that everyone is reviewing it and saying you need to exfoliate, and this is super true. DO IT! I exfoliated for two days using a nice gritty exfoliator and exfoliating gloves and that's a really important step. I probably could have done it for one more day to prepare. The next thing you need to know is that applying is WAY better with a tanning mitt. I have never used one before and it was wonderful. I would recommend getting more than one because I needed multiple coats and my tanning mitt was drying from being washed out, so I couldn't use it the third time. Okay, so now the directions. First, lotion your rougher areas like your knees. Then get your tanning mit on and really slather the stuff on there and rub it in evenly. I can't emphasize this enough. If you rub it in really well, you'll get a beautiful, even tan. I don't know why people are complaining about the gray color because it really helped me to me make sure I was rubbing it in with even strokes and not letting anything get clumped up anywhere. The next thing you need to know is be PATIENT. On me, it absolutely took at least 6 hours to develop. At first it looks like it's doing nothing. Just wait. I actually recommend putting it on right before you go to bed and then letting it develop overnight. Do NOT wash it off after an hour like it says in the directions, for any kind of reason! That said, it dried really fast and didn't feel super sticky even though I put on two coats on to begin with. I just put on a dark cotton dress and went about my business. This is an amazing improvement in self tanners because I used to feel absolutely sticky and gross for HOURS with my old ones back in the day. I even put on a third coat right before bed and let it dry and it didn't make my sheets all smelly and sticky. It should be noted that I had to put the third coat on with my hands (because my tanning mitt was still drying after washing it out) and I just did it super quickly and rubbed it in well. Then I washed my hands very thoroughly and I did not get tan hands. This is really where I could also see that it wasn't smelly because even though it had been on my hand they hardly smelled that all. Lastly, the color is TERRIFIC!! I get tan on my arms from working in the garden all summer, so I know what my true "tan" color should look like from that situation. This is a very true to color, beautiful golden brown like no tanner I've ever had before. Way to go b.tan! I'm super impressed overall. If you've tried self-tanners in the past and didn't like them, or have been wanting to dabble in self-tanning and are willing to take all the steps, get this product!! You will not be disappointed. And remember, this is coming from a super white, pale, pasty person who hasn't used tanning products in a long time. I was going to be super hard to please, but they did it!!

Ok, here’s a real review from an expert tanner. I have tried drug store tanners to Sephora tanners to high-end tanners like Loving Tan. This stuff is gold! I think some of the bad reviews might be from people that don’t know what they are doing. First of all, NEVER WAIT JUST AN HOUR for any self tanner. I don’t care what the bottle says. I don’t care if it’s a $7 bottle or $100. You need to wait 8 hours for results. Beauty is pain people! Second, as a person who likes to be 10 shades darker I am VERY hard to please. I like to be very dark so most tanners do not cut it for me. I chronically do 2-3 applications for one tanning session. I wait for one application to dry for 5 minutes and then apply 1-2 more. Even then some self tanners do not cut it for me. Tan AF tanner is definitely a beautiful darker color. I was shocked that a $10-$14 bottle could achieve a fairly dark color. My one complaint is that it was 3 applications to achieve the results in the photo but I love the color. Third, people have complained about this coming off of sheets or the grey color (second photo). Omg. That’s just silly to me. The grey color gave me BEAUTIFUL dark color without a hint of orange. Tan AF nailed it in the color department. I’m not a golden tan. I’m a deep dark brownish tan. Incredible. I wore it all night. Very little depositing of color on sheets or clothes, which is awesome. They use very little bronzer in their solution. Two thumbs up from me. Fourth, it dries so quickly. I’ve had sooooo many self tanners be sticky as hell and annoying to have on for 8 hours. This stuff dries fast with no sticky residue feeling!!! Amen to that! And for the first time ever....there is virtually no scent. No other tanner has achieved that! Impressive. Fifth, the price is awesome. You can grab this at Walmart for $10. That’s amazing even if I apply 3 times. The bottle is a great size. Not too small but not on the large side either. I freaking love this stuff. Give it a try!! And, make sure that the week before application you are heavily moisturized, shower and exfoliate right before application, and wait the full 8 hours!!

I’m giving this 3 stars, as I think it gave a good color. That’s said, I’m glad it wasn’t expensive because I don’t think I’m going to give it a second shot. I’ve used self tanners for at least 20 years, so I’ve used plenty of good ones and more than enough not so good ones. The good with this one: the color. The not so good: 1-it was slow to absorb. Rubbing it in felt like it took 2-3x longer than any other self tanning mousse I’ve ever used. I wear latex surgical gloves when I apply it so maybe a mot or brush would work better. I feel like a lot of product is wasted with those, so gloves are my preference. 2- It took a long time to dry once I got it on. At one point, a couple of days in, I used an alcohol swab on a spot and the color came right off. I guess this could also be classified as “good”, when you have a sour you didn’t mean to tan (elbow, finger webbing, etc”. It’s usually meant impossible to get rid of those once you realize it’s there. I didn’t try alcohol for that, but the way it removed color from the middle of my leg, I imagine it works at least help. (Note: I wasn’t rubbing hard or for more than a second. I was just doing a small spot prior to an injection). 3- And last but not least, the color faded very patchy. I feel like any brands I’ve used in the last 5 years have all faded fairly even, but this was incredibly patchy. I hope others have a much better experience. I could get by with some of these, but as long as it took to absorb, I was almost done before I take even got started!! It’s just not worth that kind of time up front for me, for these results.

Okay this is genuinely one of the best self tanners I’ve ever used. It’s a clear mist, dries fast, no color, no mess, no smell. You can literally spray it before you walk out the door. Because it’s so light you can build it up gradually over a few days and it looks like an actual natural tan without any streaks. This is nothing like any self tanner I’ve tried before. I use it on my arms and legs too at this point, I don’t see a reason to use anything else. One thing though, learn from my mistake. The first time I used it I over-sprayed because it comes out clear and looks like nothing. Big mistake. It developed into a dark, uneven tan. Follow the instructions and do just a few light sprays at a time. Do NOT over saturate. Less is more with this one, trust me.

The application was great , it was not streaky at all for me and I only kept it on for 4 hours and the color developed pretty good . The secret to not having a streaky tan is to apply lotion on your elbows , hands, knees , ankles and even the top of your feet . I did a light layer . I also did not pump more product to apply to these areas. I saved these areas for last and use the remaining product that was left on the tanning mitt. The result was a blended , even tan . However, I will say I only apply self tanner towards spring and summer. I am a little upset. The color I purchased was more of an olive tone on my skin after it was rinsed off . So I think next time I’m going to get a darker shade or even the darkest shade for a darker tan. I’m and fair scanned and my skin is cool toned. So for level three to show up as more as an olive rather than medium tan was not something I was aiming for. Overall, if you prepare for this tan by exfoliating shaving moisturizing, you will have an even tan. If you don’t properly, prepare expect a streaky tan. I also found that ordering the tanning glove helped a lot with evenly, dispersing the product rather than using a pair of plastic gloves.

Never leave reviews unless I’m properly wowed. This stuff is amazing I wish I’d found it sooner, leaves you with such a nice glow. Never been able to find good face mists/ tans. 10/10

When it first came out on the mitt I though it was soooo dark! It was almost black! Don't let this scare you. When you wash it off it looks super natural. Great tanning product for those of us that wouldn't use self tan products very often. Make sure to exfoliate off old tan well before reapplying.

This is so easy to use! I spray my face at night before going to bed and wake up with a nice tanned look. Not orange, thank god. I’m very pale and most tanning products go orange on me. The smell isn’t too bad but there is a slight one. Great purchase!
