Musashi - Handmade Full Tang Raiden Series Sakura Tree Katana

First time I bought a sword, did not disapoint. looks cool but when I tried to clean it with the oil, it seems I am cleaning the finish.The sheath made a clean seal at first but after unsheathing the sword a few times it became loose.Apart from those things I consider it a good buy and it looks cool but then again I am not a sword expert.

I ordered this sword as my Christmas present and I could not have been happier than the day it arrived. I rushed inside with the little kid inside my head was going crazy. I have bought Katanas before and was even looking at other swords made with Damascus steel until I read the description of this AMAZING piece of art. I have never before seen or even heard of red Damascus but when this arrived all my doubts and worries where set aside as I gazed at the quality and craftsmanship of this beauty. neither words nor pictures can do this justice it is quite breathtaking in every way. If your thinking of picking up one of these I have no reservation on saying BUY IT or its your loss. Needless to say this has the very centerpiece of my collection and easily my favorite weapon of choice.

I bought this after I actually had a "no shizzle" Japanese Katana, and yes, ...you get what you pay for. However, for the money it is not a bad looking sword... but it reeks of "Made in China" and it even says it on the tsuba. I'll let my wife use it since I'm sure the Zombie kill ratio between me and her will be about 10:1.

It is a legitimate damascus steel sword with an incredibly beautiful blade color! While it did not seem to be particularly sharp at first, my friend did accidentally cut himself with it when it was slipping out of its sheath and he grabbed it blade down...haha.My only qualm about the sword is that it does not fit snugly inside its sheath like my other katana. It does not "snap" in place. Nonetheless, that's really not a big issue. The sword is strong, full tang, beautiful, and well put together! I am incredibly pleased.

Sword came when they said it would and im more than pleased with what I got. The blade came razor sharp and is beautiful. I def would advise anyone who wants a low priced fully functioning sword to get this you wont be disappointed.

This sword makes a great investment for training and if used and cared for will last you a long time.
