Sticks Well
It was recommended that I purchased this brand of glue stick for an adult art workshop creating collage using magazine pages onto mat board (Soul Collage). Once you swipe the glue stick, it is repositionable for a little bit and then after that it is permanent and really sticks down the papers well. The square shape is helpful to get the glue right to the corners.

Great Glue Stick
I make a lot of collages so I use a lot of glue sticks. For a smaller glue stick I like the Amazon Basics just fine. For a larger glue stick I've tried Scotch, Elmer's, and Avery. Now that I've got this Pioneer glue stick I'm not looking back at the others. I love how this glides on. It is so easy to use. The straight edges are an improvement over round glue sticks. I ordered a six-pack and when these run out I will order another 6-pack. Highly recommend.

Advertised as 6-pack but only 1 came
The glue stick works fine, but it was advertised as a 6 pack and only 1 came. I wouldn't have ordered at that price for 1.

Pure Pleasure
These glue sticks are a little pricey BUT it is still true (at least sometimes) you get what you pay for. Unlike other glue sticks I've tried, they don't glob up ANYWHERE. No lumps, no bumps, just smooth and wide (fast) coverage and no problems with adhesion. The other glue sticks have been fun (in a "kid's" kind of way) but these are just pure adult pleasure.

Good glue
I use this glue for making collages. It holds pieces completely flat. Sometimes liquid glue creates ridges or bumps under the various papers. It is also very sticky, dries rather quickly and holds the papers well.

Doesn't hold with photographs onto cardstock
I bought these glue sticks as people recommended them for photos and they don't hold. I cover the entire back of my photos and still the photos are secured onto the cardstock. I thought they were, but when you pick them up and give them any sort of movement, they pop off in certain areas and in a few case have come right off. Really disappointed.
