Allure Beauty Box

Pictured above is my first box, sometime last year when it was only $15. Price is now $23, with free shipping still. I’ve loved everything they’ve sent so far, including amazing brands like Sunday Riley, Akar, AHC, and many more that I never would have splurged on or known about otherwise. Before Allure, my skincare routine was practically nonexistent, and quite frankly boring. Using the same drugstore face wash, makeup, moisturizer, and beauty products wasn’t exactly exciting. Now my skincare routine is SO much better, and I definitely look forward to using fun, new items every month. So far, I’ve gotten face wash (including an AMAZING face bar by Erno Laslo, sp?) moisturizer, oils, pimple patches, nail appliqués, face masks, eye masks, hair cream, hair protective spray, highlighter, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara,, sunscreen, lipstick, toner, and just... so many things. They NEVER send you the same product twice, and I absolutely love the full size products and small size products are perfect for traveling. I love that you can preview the next month’s box and skip if you don’t think you’ll like it too. I check the value on every product, and there’s been MANY times where one product alone is worth well over the cost of the box.New member gift when signing up, and a huge box if you sign up for a year at a time. Great Facebook community (Allure Beauty Box subscribers) where members discuss items in their box and sell or swap their stashes. Every box comes with a booklet that gives hints and tips on how to use the products, as well as coupon codes if you wish to purchase more.I’ve since subscribed to BoxyCharm as well, and they’re both a great value for the money. BoxyCharm is more tailored to your quiz results, while Allure is pretty much one size fits all, with slight variations, like brown or black eyeliner for instance. Both send notifications upon shipment, and I’ve never had anything arrive broken or unable to use.Overall, great box! Really happy I went with it!

The Allure Beauty Box is a great way to discover new beauty favorites! Each box includes a mix of full-size and deluxe samples from top brands, covering skincare, makeup, and haircare. The value far exceeds the price, and I love the surprise every month. Perfect for beauty lovers looking to try premium products at a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended!

I love my Allure box . I am glad I subscribe thru Amazon, bc it’s easy to pause and cancel . 15$ a month and you get several high end trials , one face mask and at least one full size product . This past month my I got two full size products. And I just got my box from last month ( it was lost - first time in over a year .. it happens .. -) but anyway I had a 68$ serum and a full size retinoid eye cream. Don’t expect palettes or makeup like BoxyCharm. You will get a variety of things . Hair, skin, nails , etc . This is a discovery box to me . It’s a way to find new products you enjoy . Expect to love 1-2 things each month ( though typically I like everything) . But just keep in mind - this is meant for you to try products . Too many people complain with “ I want this . I want that “. And this box is literally meant to test out beauty faves . I think of it as getting to try things I’d see in the magazine. I love the mini mag that comes with it that details each editor pick . Fun box . It will not grow your makeup hoard like BoxyCharm , but I’m 39 and I love getting skin care that seems geared towards me . It’s a surprise every month and you can’t go wrong . I miss the little make up bags but the new boxes are high quality and great to repurpose. Compared with Ipsy / I’d choose this any day . Ipsy isn’t going to send me a full size 68$ serum with a 25$ plus full size eye cream . Also I’ve gotten full size Tarte Lipstick , Tarte mascara . And awesome hair products to try . It’s a mix of everything. I do roll my eyes when I get Drug store brands in my box ( I got elf one month . I love elf , but for a box ? No .., however this was a product I hadn’t used and it was amazing ) . When the drugstore brands are included , it’s bc they are really awesome- so don’t be disappointed like I was .

I ordered the Allure Beauty Box on a whim. The first order costing less than the monthly offering was enough to snag my interest and my expectations were met when I received the order.My expectations you ask? Well, I knew there would likely be one or two things I could use and would like in the box, and there was. I also knew that the box would have mostly small size items, not full-size items. This too was true. And I expected that there would be at least one item I thought was not at all something I would use. "Check!"So in my box, I had a fantastic eyebrow pencil - great because it was the right color and full size, in addition to working well. I also received an ultra-small size of hair oil I already use and some Vitamin C under-eye serum that works well in combination with other things I use (full size).The other half of the items in the box were less helpful to me in my beauty routine or just not that great, but it was obvious that the Allure Beauty Box had some fun new items that would want me coming back for more.Is it worth the price per month? That depends upon you. Would you rather put that money towards a full size product you already know you like, or do you like grab bags and rolling the dice?Allure's Beauty Box has an insert about the products sent and a blurb about each product by an Allure magazine staff member as to why they chose that product to add to the box. It's helpful because at least one of the products had me scratching my head, not knowing what to do with it.This box is for you if you enjoy surprises and keep your expectations in check. If you are looking for products that are specific to your needs and mostly full sized for a low price, you will be disappointed.
