My Intex Spa is a great quality. Easy to assemble. Low maintenance. And is very helpful with aches and pains. I highly recommend Intex Spa.

Purchased this product as it fit well within my budget. I should have researched more because I would have went with a Foam Core Spa and not an inflatable set up. Received the PureSpa and immediately it had a hole. I found the hole and reported to Intex. Multiple calls to customer support yielded no response. Intex customer service is useless. Manufacturing defects are not covered in the warranty as stated because customer service does not call back. The shape of the Pure Spa is held in place by what appears to be nylon strings embedded in the vinyl where the beige top meets the grey sides. These strings will pull through the vinyl and cause many holes allowing air to escape. Patching these holes is impossible. Even tried Tire Sealant and although it works, more and more strings will eventually pull through the vinyl requiring draining the spa and re-applying the sealant. There is no stopping this process. In the video you will notice a pinkish/red stain. That is the tire sealant bleeding through from the inside. Initially I was very impressed with the product. Thick vinyl is good. Ease of setup is great. Longevity of the product is very poor. I repeat, do not purchase an inflatable spa, go with a bit more money and purchase a Foam Core setup.

First of all, let me say that I am, overall, very happy with this tub. It is well built, the jets are amazing, gets hot AF, and it is a great little santucary. I actually have a friend who is buying it based on his experience with mine. Please note you may not have some of these issues if you are on a flat concrete surface. I put this outdoors after rototilling, sifting and pounding the earth (and as a single mom, dang that was hard!). The fact that it was not 100% level wasn't an issue because it's sturdy, but some of the issues below can be avoided with a concrete pad. That said... 1. Instructions In a word...terrible. They are NOT complete, and there is no worse feeling when you complete install and have piecees left. They are overly simple and miss key pieces. I eventually figured the missing pieces out, and that's why I'm writing this review -- to save you the time I spent figuring it out! 2. It's all about the B valve Those of you struggling with the E90 error, it's likelhy your B valve. Of the 3 valves (by "valve", I mean the in/out flows), the B valve is the only one with a rubber gooseneck. If the neck is AT ALL bent or not straight, there will not be sufficient water flow. I had to level off the filter unit to be sure it was exactly even with the hole. The instructions do not say to put in the washers, on the valves either, so I missed that and had both intake issues and leakage. That hose HAS to be straight. 3. Filters Another issue I had with the E90 error was that when I changed the filters, and I accidentally switched the units (meaning I swapped them). The filters must go back on the proper valve or you will get an E90 error. 4. Temp fluctuations and the release valve I live in NorCal. In the summer, we can get to 100+ in the day, then the fog comes in and it can drop down to the 50s. I didn't make a connection, and had several days when the tub was full during the day, then basically collapsed in the evening. At first, I thought I had a leak -- we had a week of that weather pattern, so I thought it was the only logical issue. I spent HOURS with soapy water looking for my hole anywhere on the tub. A serious pain in the arse! I beta tested on a moderate day (70s), I realized the issue. The air valve automatically relases when it's hot and then there isn't enough air when it's cool at night. Solution -- at sundown on the hot days, refil the air, but not too much!! With hot/cold weather patterns, keep it 2/3s full of air. 5. Chlorine is key When I first set up the tub, I thought, "gee, it's clean water, brand new. I don't have to chlorinate for a few days". Nope. Within 2 days, it was cloudy, and I started to get slimy sides. I started over (used the water for the garden, and realized that the output does fit my hose after the fact! Glad I scooped buckets full instead of that (facepalm)). Regardless, put the chlorine pod in from the start, and no issues. Crystal clear. 6. Beware the temp! On said hot days, knowing it would be cold at night, I cranked it up to 103. That first night (prior to deflation), I was stoked to get into what read as a 103 temp. I took the top off, then the temp jumped from 103 to 114! It was basically a human fondue pot. Solution -- on hot days, take it down to 99 and expect a nice 101-103 at night time. 7. Double up on ground cover The tub comes with a really nice ground cover. However, on the ground, there was moisture that got trapped on the underside. I noticed significant moisture and a little mold on my second "do over". A tarp under the ground cover helps. 8. The bubble flaps The bubble jet flaps create a "crease" where debris can get trapped. The filters are not great, and I put the tub under a beautiful apple tree. Result? Lots of debris caught that the filter can't get. I now occasioually run my figer under the bubble strip to release debris, and now the jets run perfectly. 9. The inflatable bladder top. DO NOT FULLY INFLATE THE BLADDER FOR THE TOP!! I did, and if there was a video of me trying to get it into the cover, it would have been viral on YouTube. The top bladder should be 1/2 full, And line up the Intex Logos on the top and sides of the tub otherwise you will NEVER get the clips to line up. 10. Lastly -- it's a two person job I mentioned I'm a single mom? Yeah, so the instructions kinda sorta illude to the fact that it's a two person job. I installed it alone and felt like I had just won American Gladiators. But when it rained and I tried to take the top off afterwards to use it, all the sh*t on top went into the tub. There is NO WAY to get it off without another pair of well orchestrated hands. I know I'm only 5'3", but no one has a 6' plus wingspan! I hope this saves you the time and frustration I had, and that this is a useful PSA. Again, love this tub and it's been an interesting challenge. Oh, and the neighborhood cats LOVE to hang on it. Must be like a kitty waterbed.

Good size, quality and exceeded my expectations in pressure of bubbles. Love it immensely.

We bought this spa and used it all one summer, all that winter, and then all the next summer. My husband and I loved it. It was easy to maintain using bromine tablets and the usual spa chemicals, and we drained and refilled it about every 6 -8 weeks. We bought a large pack of filters, but used a sprayer hose to clean them once each week and they lasted a long time before needing replacing. We purchased some head cushions for it, a 4 cup holder that mounted on the side of the spa tub, some waterproof color changing LED lights that mounted on the inside of the spa, set a small table by the spa to hold towels and a cell phone for music; and VOILA we had the perfect spa experience all set up. The only flat place in our yard was about 40 feet from an exterior outlet, so even though it says not too, we powered it with a construction grade extension cord and put a waterproof cover where the plugs mated and it worked fine with no problems. At one point we had a problem with the pump, it was working fine but had gotten very loud so we contacted Intex. They sent us a brand new pump for free right away. Sadly we weren't the only ones who liked this spa. Near the end of the second summer I started finding some coarse black hair in the tub. I normally didn't snap down all of the straps on the cover, so I figured one our wild friends was nosing up the cover to drink from it. I decided to snap down all the latches on the spa cover that night. The next morning we saw that the spa was badly deflated and upon examining it, we found that the very tough vinyl material had four BIG long gashes in it. The bear who had decided this was his new handy watering hole had not appreciated finding the lid strapped down too tight to get his head into the spa, so he'd just clawed his way in. The damage was too extensive for repairs, so we ended up throwing it out and donated the working pump to the local Goodwill to sell on Ebay. It was great while it lasted and we missed it a lot. However, we decided we'd wait to get a new one till we could afford to extend our deck and put a new spa ON the deck with a Bear Gate across the entrance, so it wouldn't be accessible to our wild denizens.

Don't buy this unless you want to pay for a new pump a year later. I would think for this kind of money they would give you a warranty longer then 1 year. It's been 14 months and the pump went out. Also takes for ever to heat the spa.

We bought this spa about 2 years ago at another retail store. We love it! Still works great. Keep in mind this a a hot tub for a little under $500. You have to learn how to use it properly. My son and his family have a large fiber glass hot tub and it’s interesting the major differences in maintenance. He is always checking the levels of his spa and I basically keep the bromine & ph level good and that’s it. I check it every so often and make the necessary adjustments. And if you wash your swimsuits in vinegar and water in the washer and not detergent and fabric softener it helps keep it clean and clear. If you do get some foam just add a little de-foamier. And once in a while some clarifier. It will cool down a bit once you put the bubbles on. But not uncomfortably so. And it heats up faster with the top on. So keep it covered while not in use. We bought the seats from Intex to put in the tub but found it’s just as comfortable sitting on the bottom. I keep them for my grandkids. Also, do yourself and the spa a favor and buy some of the foam tiles that lock together to put underneath. It makes for a soft seat and helps protect the bottom of the tub. We have picked it up and stored it for awhile several times and it goes back up and runs with no problem. All in all a great little hot tub for the price. Also great as a “starter” to see if you would want to invest in a more expensive type.
