OBIA Naturals Curl Moisture Cream, Light-Weight Leave-In Conditioner, 8oz

I am an African American natural haired woman, the beautiful Type 4C to be exact :-)Originally, I was not concerned about pH balance in hair products as much I was ingredients, but after nearly 3 weeks of using her curl cream I have noticed a difference in the curling of my ends and the overall fluffiness of my 4C hair. I use this as a daily quench where I scrunch it into my hair in the morning, sometimes I finger coil afterwards, sometimes I use it to twist my hair (underneath a butter to seal). All on dry hair. Have not used on wet hair as I needed more of a daily moisturizer. This is very lightweight, after 7 days of consistent use, NO sign of product buildup, and the scent is very light.Amazing! Wish it was a bit cheaper, but I believe it's worth it. Obia's service is prompt, shipping is fast, and great experience. Time to start minimizing this product stash, looking fwd to what's next from Obia Natural.

I'm newly natural and have a TWA. I've been using this for about three weeks now and I use this product daily for my wash and go's. It leaves my hair feeling soft and moisturized all day. When I do my wash and go's in the morning - my hair looks just as good when I come back home in the evening. It leaves my hair shiny without looking or feeling oily or greasy. It does not weigh my hair down. It has a very mild fragrance that I can't even smell once it's in my hair. I ordered the trial pack first and I loved the moisture cream so much that I immediately ordered the full size two days later. This one will be a part of my routine for a very long time to come. It's my new creamy crack!

I have 3B curly hair and I recently started using Obia Naturals products. I love this product very much! First of all, I have two types of eczema and vocal cord dysfunction. I have to use nontoxic and safe products on my scalp and hair or I have a bad reaction. These products are vegan, cruelty free, and doesn't have many harmful and irritating ingredients. The product adds moisture to my hair and doesn't cause any flaking on my hair and scalp, which is great. (it doesn't have silicones or other ingredients that would cause flaking). The product also have a mild scent that smells good, but not overpowering. However, the price is steep. This is very expensive at $16. I can buy other vegan and nontoxic hair products for $10 or less. But this product is nontoxic and does a good job adding moisture to my hair and doesn't flake, so it may be worth the money to many people.

As far as the effectiveness on my hair I really like this product. The problem is I've ordered this 7 times and have had three scents. Once it smelled spoiled and I suspect was a bad batch. Most of the time there's almost no scent and smells nutrual which is my preference. This last shipment has a cloyingly sweet smell, and I think I'm done. Some may like it, but I feel a manufacturer should make note of new smells if that is where they're headed or learn to make a consistent product.

I received the product a few days ago and was excited to use it being that I am transitioning from relaxed (chemically treated) hair to my natural hair. I was vey nervous at first because I have tried to go natural once and it didn't go well. My hair is a 3c and 4a mix. It is so hard to find great products especially for different textures of hair. My hair has been straight for over 20 years of my life and I don't want to continue using chemicals in my hair. I was introduced to this product by looking at another cream recommendation but it had some bad reviews. I came across this one and read all the great reviews and decided to try it. Finally used it last nigh and woke up this morning a little unsure because I never twisted my hair like I was instructed and wasn't sure if I could do the curls. Throughout the day the style grew on me because the curls actually held all day ( when it normally loses its curl or gets frizzy and I have a mini afro) even though the majority of my hair is straight it held the style..... pleasantly surprised. My hair also was soft and not greasy like some products that weigh your hair down. I used this product with the OBIA Natural Hair Care Curl Enhancing Custard. Great products and it smells great, I wanted to eat my hair all day. I don't usually leave both windows down when I am driving especially if its humid out.....well toady I didn't have a problem as my lock blew in the wind I enjoyed the smell.

I use thus on my hair to keep it moisturized and hydrated very light pleasant scent and never oily or greasy I love how it leaves my hair.

I was so excited to use this product. I purchased the Obia Custard last week and loved it. However, I quickly realized I needed a leave in underneath it. I purchased the moisture cream thinking it would do the trick.. Nope flaky city.. Flake Flake city!! Too bad I can’t return the cream. In addition, I no longer want to purchase the custard because I don’t know what to use underneath it and I don’t want to waste money trying to find something that works!

This is so creamy and moisturizing on the hair. I use this as my leave-in conditioner. I love the Obia products and it's worth the money. I'm glad the smell is natural and not a strong perfume scent.
