I have been trying for literally 2 hours and feel like if i try again i'm going to tear *myself*** A: You need a different size! Not all size s/l are the same size. Each brand is different. Don't get hung up on charts that tell you what size you need. I'm older have had a few babies have heavy flows but my average size is a 0 or 1. I hate the large sizes. Some are 3+ inches tall some only 1.3 inches tall and bigger does not mean better. The cup has to fit you not fill you. Also some are softer more flexible easier to open but if you get a stiffer one I suggest boiling it for maybe 20 mins it will soften up some but this will also cause it to not last the lifetime they say they are good for lol but you'll get a year or 2 out of one that is over boiled. Another option is to run it under warm water right before inserting **Q: Do we need a lubricate to insert the cup??** A: Not necessarily, but you can if you find it difficult to put in even with your vaginas natural lubrication. Good luck! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was skeptical but definitely worth a try *by H***S on 2 June 2026* First time using a menstrual cup was a bit sceptical as it looked kinda big but I used coconut oil to lube the edges and so far so good haven't reached heavy flow day yet to use the bigger one which im a little bervous about but ive had no spills yet and its surprisingly comfortable, if your someone thats trying to make the switch from tampons like myself, I think this is a pretty good substitute.
