The Deco BE25 has just two LAN ports, and on my unit one of them stopped working properly within months. It dropped to 100 Mbps, so my 450 Mbps plan was getting throttled to 95. With only two ports, losing one is half your wired connections gone. You can run either the internet or your home switch at full speed, not both. The app is useless for figuring this out. It does not even show the port speed, so you are left guessing why your network is crawling. Now I am stuck chasing TP-Link for a replacement while my whole house runs slow. For this price the product should just work. It does not. Buy something else.

Das System liefert bis zu 5 Gbit/s WLAN-Geschwindigkeit, kombiniert mit 2,5 Gbit/s LAN-Ports – perfekt, wenn mein Mann abends Filme streamt, die Kinder gleichzeitig online lernen und ich eine Video-Konferenz habe. Die Einrichtung war kinderleicht – die Deco‑App führt einen Schritt für Schritt, meine 12‑jährige Tochter hat das in wenigen Minuten übernommen. Schon nach dem ersten Tag hatten wir blitzschnelle Downloads und endlich stabile Verbindung auch auf dem Balkon und im Gartenhäuschen. Besonders gefallen mir die kindgerechten Funktionen: Mit den integrierten Elternkontrollen kann ich Spielzeitlimits für meine beiden einrichten und unerwünschte Inhalte blockieren – praktisch und beruhigend zugleich. Ebenso überzeugt das Mesh‑Setup – egal in welchem Raum, das WLAN erkennt automatisch unsere Geräte und sorgt für lückenlosen Empfang. Optisch ist das Set dezent, modern und fügt sich unauffällig in unsere Räume. Ich schätze vor allem, dass TP‑Link auch zukünftige Technik wie Wi‑Fi 7 unterstützt – damit sind wir bestens gerüstet. Sam sprzęt wydaje się wart swojej ceny. Zaś oprogramowanie - zarówno to sprzętowe jaki to to do obsługi poprzez telefon - jest skandalem. Brak opcji konfiguracyjnych typowych, a wręcz obowiązkowych dla routera. Poczynając od braku dostępu do systemu gdy nie ma Internetu, po takie "kwiatki" jak choćby ustawienie numeru kanału. Do tego błędy i 'lagi' (cóż się dziwić, skoro wszystko jest w chmurze, łącznie z lokalizacją). Szkoda słów. Mamona kompletnie odebrała tym ludziom szacunek do użytkowników. Ponieważ, rzekomo, nadzieja umiera ostatnia - poczekam jeszcze na zmianę oprogramowania. To z powodu tej nadziei daję dwie, a nie jedną, gwaiazdki...
