Stinks, but it works pretty well. Popped it in a sprayer to make it a bit easier to use. Does take a while and a bit of rubbing, but similar to others I’ve used. Have not done a side by side comparison to Autoglyms stuff, but it’s way cheaper than that so can’t really grumble. Tar is a problem, the amount we go through it’s a good buy.The other prokleen products have also been good, their dragons blood wheel cleaner is excellent and the Cherry snow foam is a favourite of mine also

Great stuff! 5L goes a very long way.
Wonderful. Used to clean extensive tar spotting on my Mercedes, following recent roadworks. Applies easily, let it dwell for a short time, and wipe off with a cloth. It’s that easy. Having done my car, I’d estimate that I’ve got 4.5L left over for the next time I need to do the same. It doesn’t appear to damage plastics, though I did avoid as much as possible. Very pleased with purchase!

For getting tar off of paintwork its pretty good gear to be fair and gets the tar bleeding pretty quick.However tar that gets baked onto alloy wheels gets basically left behind and the product doesnt really have much of an affect .

The Ronseal of tar removal
Absolutely astounded, I was quoted over £200 to have tar removed from my white car by a professional valet. This product was brilliant, rubbed over each area with a soft cloth, left for 2 minutes and wiped off with paper towels. Took 15 minutes to remove a huge amount of tar from bonnet, wings, bumper and wing mirrors. Well impressed, only downside was I bought 5 litres and used about 200 mls.

Surprisingly effective
Tar is a big problem to get rid of…. This product is better than I’ve tried before, but still takes a bit of elbow grease to complete the job.

Slow to act
It turn 3 separate applications of this stuff to get the tar off my car. It takes far too long and definitely not fast acting

Does what it says
After using many different Tar removers on a number of cars this is the cheapest 5l out of the lot and probably the best I have used. Brakes through tar easily will be buying again
