how does the 12 compare to the DD-15? At only 165 watts, I'm thinking one 12 might not be enough for a garage with 8 speakers & the bass driven music being played in it.

If you are playing heavy bass driven music (electronica/rap/etc) we would recommend the DD-15. With the Impact-12 you will have a great experience for a home theater, but it will not have the deep punches you need for the types of music mentioned.

Anybody know is for 120V/220V (dual voltage)?.

I bought two of them, to run dual subs for my Home theater room, I have yet to open the boxes but the spec sheet says 120 volt Which is what I need

What kind of speakers I can use with these

I would imagine any kind of speakers that would be of similar quality. I use this subwoofer with my Bose Accustimass cube speakers, with a Denon receiver. I am very satisfied with the Velodyne subwoofer for the price I paid for it. I hope this helps, somewhat.
