Did I get that?Well, I was one of the lucky ones who received it in a gift box that was not bashed, stood on or held together with masking tape (as one reviewer here noted). My gift box was lovely and it really felt like a gift to myself when I opened it.Inside contained a beautifully bound notebook, as promised. I chose Aqua, which was not perhaps my best choice as it is very pale and quite bright on the eyes. I would have in hindsight chosen a brown leather. But, that aside, the quality of the leather is clear to see. It is soft and beautifully cut to shape.The paper is a very definite high quality. It has a lovely thick feel to it and is a pleasure to write on. I had bought a different leather journal. It was a lovely leather outer, but the paper inside was cheap and tacky. This paper is not that at all. It contributes to the whole feeling of having a seriously good quality notebook.So I got a beautiful, high-quality notebook that definitely looks and feels special. Shame I broke my arm after three days of journalling! I am returning to the notebook five months later to start journalling over again from scratch.
