Works great, BUT a big caveat
Used a hanging flower type feeder before, but then honeybees found it, so decided to try this feeder. The good:Easy to assemble. Then to clean/refill, just hold down the hanging rod and pop the top off. Doesn't swing as much in the wind. I use one shot glass of sugar/4 shots of water mix. Fills reservoir up about half way, have had zero spillage, unlike the hanging flower type that dropped mix with the slightest wind. Easy to clean, unlike the previous one that was a PITA to completely disassemble to clean/sanitize. No honeybees, they can't get at the juice. Trap in the middle prevents bugs crawling to the top. I fill the trap with 1 1/2 shots of water. Easier to hang. The hanging rod has a generous loop end that is easy to pop on the hook. Old one had a small S hanger that was harder to catch on the hook; annoyed me enough that I replaced it with a bigger one I made out of coat hanger wire. The caveat: I notice the reservoir gets dirty quickly. One time it had something that looked like a bird poop loaf floating in it, wondered HTF that got through one of the feed holes?!? Since it gets dirtier quicker, it starts to form mold sooner. I usually toss a good amount of mix due to this. Old one stayed clean till empty. But at least it's easy to get the grunge out with dish soap/clorox, then a thorough rinse out.Overall I much prefer this feeder to the old one.

2 Pack Hummingbird Feeders
I don't get a lot of Hummingbirds in my area, but there are a few that make frequent stops during the day. I've tried a few feeder designs and I find that these feeders really work for me. Here is my assessment:They hold up to 12 ounces, but I don't have to completely fill it that much to be able to feed them. This helps with not wasting the homemade sugar water (boil 4 cups of water, add 1 cup of sugar, cool then add to feeders - the left over goes in the refrigerator for a few days and is ready when I need to wash/change the feeders. Don't buy premade/store bought food- the artificial colors and preservatives are not good for them).I like the overall design. It's red on top to attract the Hummers and clear on the bottom so that I can see how much food is still in there. The flat top allows me to see when a Hummer lands to feed at any port. I have not experienced any problems with leaking or it coming apart. It is very easy to clean. The only thing I don't like is the lack of an angle of the ports on top. The open holes are just on top which allows a little rain and pollen to get in. This isn't a deal breaker because I always take the feeders down and wash them after the rain anyway. I've been experimenting by making a dome over the top (take a plastic bowl, put a hole in the middle and hang with wire above the feeder) to see if that would help with deflecting any rainwater. It seems to work okay and the Hummers don't seem to mind it. Because of their light weight, I did notice that they swayed pretty good in strong winds, but not enough for any concern or loss of food. So, overall, I really like these feeders and would recommend them.Happy Hummer Watching!

Very sturdy feeders
These were shipped in a box with a gallon of weed killer. I thought for sure they would have been crushed. They are so well packaged that they were just fine. The hummers love these because of the little perches on the lid. It allows them to sit and rest while feeding. These are easy to clean and are very sturdy. The hummers are very pleased with my purchase!

They are Used to These Now. Bees Cannot Access!
The media could not be loaded. I would give this 5 stars but on the first day I put two of them out, I take all the feeders in every night in the fall and winter because it's in the 30's and even 20's in the So Cal desert. So last night I was shocked to see two poor bees has their heads stuck in a hole in each one! I gently pulled the red lid off, flipped it upside down and tapped it against the kitchen counter side and paper towel. Once they came out, I wrapped them in thick paper towels and put them outside so they wouldn't die overnight. They didn't get to leave to make it back to their hive. I feed the bees, so I was bummed to see this prong design inside where I'll probably be stuck (pardon the pun) doing this all the time. I wanted smaller feeders for winter and the hummingbirds took to these and the cute small ones right away. I use a very thick ratio of only pure C&H Cane sugar and have hundreds stay here all year round for 18 years. The small ones will be a nightmare with the bees, too, because the juice is right in the entryway, but this one for my review other than the prong setting inside is built nicely and juice doesn't come out unless it's windy (which it is here), so I'll move it to another location.Update: The hummingbirds didn't care for these at first and then I realized I wasn't putting enough cane sugar in them like I do the other ones. It took about five weeks before they all started using them and sitting next to each other while they are. Initially, there was only one hummingbird at each of these feeders and I purchased 10 of them. Now they are sharing and using the feeders. The bees have become smarter and are not sticking their head in the holes. Once in a while a bee Just go into the center area where you would normally put water and for some reason it can't fly out of it and dies. It bums me out, but there's not much I can do about it. I don't know why they can't fly out of that little cup area in the middle. I do have to say that these are not even when you fill them up.Meaning, when you put the juice in, and you hold it up by the metal rod with your finger, one side of the plastic holder has more juice on one side than the other. So they do leak if you overfill them to the designated line, so I fill them just right below the designated line. But the bees still have a very hard time hanging onto these feeders, which is great. I do recommend these feeders and I love how Easy they are to clean compared to the other ones I have. I never let them get all the way empty. I dump all of them out and clean them about every five days. I don't mind as much as my larger feeders that get mold in them and fungus. These get a fungus when things get in there, so it's a quick dump and rinse with really hot water and I fill it up again with their bottled water and C&H cane sugar.

Easy to clean
This is my favorite style of hummingbird feeder. Easy to clean. Easy to monitor. No gross mystery area hidden like the bottle style feeders. Great value
