Hanging them took some time, but set up was easy and the color options are phenomenal! You can customize each and every individual bulb or by string or you can pick from their wide array of themes. The app is easy to use and allows for saving your favorite custom selections., The options range from steady on to 'dancing' lights. We were so happy with the lights, we bought a second set! As for the GOVEE company. We did experience an issue where the power cord stopped working on the lights. This happened after 6 mos of having the lights installed. We reached out to the company via email from their website. We explained we knew it was the power cord because we used the cord from the second set. GOVEE was extremely responsive and asked for a brief video showing the issue. We provided the video and within 24 hours they had another set mailed to us. We were expecting just a power cord to replace the one we took from the other box, but they sent an entire new set!
