Wet & Forget Moss, Mold, Mildew, & Algae Stain Remover Multi-Surface Outdoor Cleaner Concentrate, Original, 128 Fluid Ounces

I don't why I have not written a review for this; I have been using for years and recommend to all my friends. I have a stone patio and teak patio set that gets partial sun which enables things to grow...the stone will blacken, the chairs and table too, this is just part of things being outside. Once a year in the spring I mix up wet and forget in my pump sprayer and apply this over everything (not on plants or grass too much) and it just works. I was looking my chairs yesterday, August, and I swear they are continuing to brighten up (I like the silver color teak goes naturally to). It takes a couple weeks to really see the results, but like it says..."forget"....because I now have forgotten how dirty this stuff was in March. I sprayed it on the vinyl trim of windows, on the vinyl fence gate that gets a sprinkler spray and turns green, on the moss growing on my stone work, on metal furniture, on my glass table tops, and it works; everywhere.

I have been using Wet and Forget products for about 5 years now and the results on my applications have been amazing. I have used it on cement side walks, cement pavers, stone beds, and vinyl siding. It is a great product, and within months safely removes mold, moss and algae from almost any thing. I follow the directions on the label and usually if the mold is really bad... I will apply it twice within a few months. My fathers sidewalk was completely turning black, along with the stones in his stone bed, which both was on the north side of his home. I applied Wet and Forget and walked away. Two months later I could not believe the difference, so I applied it again before the snow fell. This spring his side walk looked like brand new cement and the stones in his stone bed were back to original color with no mold or moss. It has a slight cleaning agent smell, but nothing bad, it is used for outdoors only. Eliminating mold on your vinyl siding on the north side of your house will last for several years. At least it has for me.

My Arizona pink flagstone has developed many blackened mold spots over the years which are nearly impossible to remove. Each spring I spend a lot of time cleaning with a pressure washer, but some black areas still remain. I’ve tried many cleaning products with little success. When I discovered this one, I was skeptical, and indeed didn’t see any overnight improvement. But when we returned after a 3-week trip in June/July I noticed that the areas I had sprayed with this stuff were almost pristine. Most of the black spots had disappeared. Apparently it takes some time in the sun for the product to work. After that discovery I resorted some ither problem areas and am seeing steady improvement.The first picture is before. The product is amazing. I have used every product under the sun and none compares to this product. I live in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Shade and pine needles are covering my house and deck daily. I leave the house for 8 months to go to warmer weather. Before I used this product I had to power wash my decks and spindles every year to clean the moss and mildew. It took me a week, 6 hours a day to complete the cleaning. No more. Last year I sprayed everything, deck and spindles. I came back this year and it looked like I had just power washed everything. No moss. No mildew. I can’t tell you how excited I was returning to the house. I marvel at it each time I go out of the house. I can’t see why it wouldn’t work again this year if I thoroughly spray it like I did last year.

I used this on my weather stained roof...just spray it on and walk away. It takes a while to work (1-2 weeks in my case), but I can definitely tell the difference as the stains are gone!

Was skeptical, but does seem to work over a period of time. If you’re looking for instant clean, this isn’t the product for you.

Read the FAQ on their website before buying as you will need to forget about it removing algae from you roof for 3 months or more. Would not recommend if there is heavy accumulation as it could take up to a year to fully remove it.
