I have been looking for the right dish rack for a long time. Large enough, without taking up my whole counter, good looking, knife rack if possible, not too many bells and whistles that take up important real estate, and most important — it cannot rust. For years I had a vinyl coated metal rack. It was fine, but the white got dirty and was hard to clean, it chipped and then rusted. When it died, I bought a KitchenAid stainless steel rack. It was large and pretty and had a knife rack. By the end of the first week it was covered with rust(it is stainless steel but the joints are welded and that is where it rusted) I searched everywhere but nothing met my criteria until I found the King Rack. It is made of molded aluminum(no welding joints), it is medium large(could definitely be a little bigger, but it works), is very attractive, has moveable glass and silverware racks. Comes with an easily removable(for cleaning) drip tray(which could be longer, to cover glass and silverware racks). My biggest complaint is that It has a knife rack that can be removed to serve as a regular silverware rack for those who do not want a knife rack(why wouldn’t you?) and most importantly — I have had it for 9 months and not a trace of rust. It is not perfect, but what is. I am happy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars I really like this *by W***I on Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2021* This is the best dish drainer I have found. It is not perfect! I decided on this one after reading many reviews and I knew it didn't have all the features I wanted but I decided it was the best possible option for me. Now that I have been using it for about 6 months I can say that I am more pleased than I thought I would be. I love the aluminum frame. It has not rusted one bit because it really is aluminum. The water draining tray is sturdy and easy to clean. It provides as much, and perhaps a little more storage capacity as the kind I used to buy at a local store. The cup holders are nicely coated with durable plastic. What's not perfect is: I had to modify it a bit to make it work for me. Since I placed it on the right side of my sink the plate holders were leaning in the wrong direction. Well the aluminum is easy to bend so I just bent them the opposite way. They are not as evenly bent as they were before, but they work now. Also, I wanted the water to drain better into the sink so I propped the feet up with 1 inch plastic tubes to give it more of an angle. Finally I wish it had another cup holder bar. It can be easily moved around and placed on three different sides. I have it on the sink end but it would be great to have an additional one on one of the longer sides. I really like how bendable the parts are because you can tweak them if they are fitting too loosely or not angled optimally. Overall, I love this dish rack and I feel it will last a long time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Best Rack if you are willing to DIY mod the two issues (KingRack read this to improve your product) *by J***B on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2020* Well like some other reviews, this is really made to be put on the ‘LEFT’ side of your sink despite the deceptive pictures/Video from the manufacturer. The dish rack is made so the dishes angle/tilt against each other and the bottom has one side higher than the other so it only drains down (into sink) if placed on the left side (so dishes angle away from you when drying). The other issue is that the drain piece of plastic is not rigid enough to properly drain as it warps, drops in the middle and water pools in it.The rack is REALLY nice however and I couldn’t find anything else as good as it so I modified it to resolve the two issues with it so I could use it on the right side of sink as follows:1). I took an old plastic box I had (from go pro hero) and cut it up with my multi-tool to make some LIFTS to raise the height of the tray on the ‘lower’ base part of the rack. I measured to make this high enough so the plastic tray now sits as high as it will (touching the bottom of the drain rack). Probably can come up with something better but it was a quick hour fix to test if it would work and it does just fine. See picture.2). To resolve the plastic drip tray that had a droop in it I used my heat gun (a blow dryer may work but it could take longer). I was able to heat it up and hold it flat on a book (that fit into the recess on the bottom) then cooled it with cold air. That got it straighter and less ‘warped’ but it still would droop when set in the rack (this is because the tray just isn’t thick enough to hold a flat shape, probably cost savings during manufacturing). My resolution was to overhang the tray on a counter inngarage and using the heat gun slowly work the drip edge where water runs off down so it has more of a drop at the last few inches which is enough to force most of the water off.This unit could be improved pretty easy by the manufacturer with a couple design tweaks that will improve the draining and something that could easily make this usd on both and left sides without the inconvenience of having dishes face the wrong way:1). They should make both of the legs (drip tray supports) the same height (lowest to counter). Then they should include a small piece of plastic similar to what I made (call it a riser) that you can put on either legs cross bar to make that the ‘HIGH’ side for the drain board. This should be a very minimal cost and would make the product so much better/useful.2). They should either use a higher quality plastic (or stiffer) for the drain board to allow it to hold a ‘FLAT’ ship when sitting under the unit tilted so water will not pool at the downhill side.
