This is an amazing little thing. It has the most astonishing feature I've ever seen called Hue, which I've never seen on any other DVD player, portable or otherwise. Since DVDs are obviously made by different manufacturers, there is no color consistency. The Hue feature lets you make things pinker or yellower, so that things even out on the screen. It's easy to operate, fits well in the case, has a remote - it even came with batteries for it! - and goes a long time on a charge. The only thing I wish it had was a flash drive port, but other than that, this device is perfect: well made, easy to operate and the picture quality, as long as you adjust it with the Hue feature, is very, very good. I didn't buy it for children because I chose not to have any, but I'm sure if you did have children this would be good, as it comes with a thing to fit onto the headrest of a seat so children can watch a DVD. Great little device!

Very nice portable dvd player. Perfect for instances of power outages. Convenient remote control and offers good picture quality for me. Easy to use. I’m not sure about Bluetooth connectivity

After some use it's held up good. Speakers are not very loud but good enough for up close listening.

Great for road trips! Even on bumpy roads, we didn't have any issues with picture or playback quality. Love the option to attach it to the back of a headrest with the included holder if you want to!The only issue we encountered was that the player developed a slight weird, high-pitched "whine" noise after two movies back-to-back, but it went away after it cooled down for awhile.

This player is awesome, works every where. Comes with all needed accessories. Simple to operate. May buy anotherone

I had the hardest time with this thing. I have not owned a portable disc player for several years but had no problem with them when I did, so I thought this one would be fairly straightforward- especially considering the involvement of children entertaining themselves with it in the back seat of a car.The item receives top marks for packaging, with multiple layers of cushioning, and it arrives with everything one could conceivably need for full functionality, including AV cables, a 12-voltplug for cigarette lighter, and a snazzy holder with straps to install on the back of a front car seat for back seat viewing -- as well as a remote.The instruction manual has way too many pages of tiny print and inadequate diagrams of what is to be found where. Too many black on black buttons on the device, and too many buttons on the remote which does not include everything I expected from a remote and which every other remote for any other device I have does have: such as start/stop and rewind. So much of getting this device out of its packaging to actually watching a DVD is difficult to understand and less intuitive than it could be.When I finally got it working, I stopped midway through a DVD I was watching, and put in a different one. The second video started midway through -- apparently at the point at which I took the first one out. I found that annoying -- although I admit I don't have that much experience watching DVDs on a portable player, so that could just be the way they are alls supposed to work. But I don't care for it. Another DVD I put in, the machine, for some reason, interpreted as having been split into several different segments; It stopped after the first segment, and I have yet to figure out how to tell it to play the whole doggone disc at once.All in all I am not at all fond of this item, but as I have got it working somewhat satisfactorily, I suppose I will keep it. I am taking off two stars for my aggravation and general discontentment with the item.To be fair, however, it seems to be very well constructed. The lid not only swivels fully around in either direction, but the whole device can be folded in half backward to so it can be fitted into the car seat holder for back seat viewing. Maybe all of them do this, or this one is unique in this feature, but even though I will never use it in that manner, I thought it was clever. Now, if only the buttons on the remote and the instruction booklet were simplified ....

Got this for my great grandson's birthday he loved it.Shows great picture,he's 4 easy for him to operate.

Received my portable dvd player today and I must say, I am very happy about this purchase. It comes with a remote and batteries, a holder for the car headrest, a car charger, a home charger and av cables. I plugged it in and put in a dvd and the picture was a little fuzzy at first but after I fixed the contrast with the remote, the picture was clear. I definitely recommend this to anyone that needs an alternative on the go entertainment option besides a tablet or cell phone.
