This has a classic lip balm formula. It’s moisturizing and not sticky. You can put a lot or a little on, I was able to build it to a pretty full coverage lip. Only thing you have to worry about is it smudging as it’s fairly pigmented. The shade brave was a candy red on my lips. It doesn’t really have a flavor or smell. It’s about as hard to get out of the tube as any other lip BALM I tried. Lip balm and lip gloss are not the same thing. Gloss is a liquid and balm is a moisturizing balm that melts when it comes in contact with your lip. Overall I’m impressed with this tinted lip balm as it’s easy to put on, it’s comfortable, and it stays on for quite a while.

I kept this so I could give it a good test before reviewing. The color does not stay for more than an hour or so. It is entirely NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

This lip balm comes in a squeezable tube with a cap. The balm is almost a solid state in the tube, which was unexpected. Due to this, it's a bit difficult to get out of the tube- you have to squeeze a bit. When it does come out, it's somewhat gooey and hard to smooth onto your lips. I ended up with a clumpy look that I smeared around with my fingertip. The lip balm is for sure hydrating and feels good on the lips, but the application process and consistency of the balm itself leaves much to desire.

This balm is so thick in the tube that it’s kind of hard to dispense at first. Even in a warm climate, it stays semi-solid until I apply it, and then it softens up and spreads easily on my lips. It has a light, minty scent and good color payoff. The tube is thinner than I expected, but the price isn’t bonkers, so I’m happy with the amount of product.

This is not your traditional goopy, slippy squeeze balm. I actually wondered if the product was defective when I first received it, however, once I perfected squeezing it out of the tube, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The product is a very, very, very thick, almost paste like wax which makes it very difficult to try to squeeze with force out of the tube opening. However, if you hold it between your index finger and middle finger and use your thumb to push the tube between your two fingers, it comes out a bit more easily. In essence you’re somewhat folding the tube in half to squeeze the product out of the top. Sounds like a lot of work huh? I thought so too until I spread it out and it warmed up on my lips. It was very soothing and moisturizing, added just the right amount of color, and lasted a surprising amount of time. Pro tip: Do not try to build this up to an opaque color - you will just be pushing the product around on your lips. It’s best applied in a thin-ish layer.
