Great doors and stakes.
This screen tent is a fantastic addition for any outdoor setting, whether youโre using it over a picnic table or just relaxing underneath. Itโs incredibly easy to set up, making it a hassle-free experience. The tent is durable, ensuring it withstands various weather conditions, and it was the perfect size for our needs. The magnetic screen doors are a brilliant feature, especially with children, as they close automatically every time. I love it so much that Iโm ordering a second one, and my friend is getting one too. Highly recommend!

Great screen tent with minor adjustments
This tent is much larger than I had imagined. Very spacious. I haven't used it camping yet, but I set it up in my yard to check it out as several other reviews had pointed out some potential issues. First, I could easily set this up myself. I have a lot of experience setting up dome tents by myself. If you can't set one of those up by yourself, you probably wouldn't be able to set this up without some help. The issue was raising up the tent. It is so long the roof wants to arc down instead of staying arc up. Let it do what it wants. Put one pole on the pin then go to the opposite corner and set that pole on its pin. Now the tricky part, the tent wants to go side to side. You can either quickly go to the next closest pole and set it up or use the guy cord on that corner and tie it so it is out away from the next pole on the short end. Then hold the tent as you walk to the next pole to keep the guy cord from pulling the tent - set up 3 pole and set that guy cord. Go to the 4th corner and set up that pole. Stability isn't great even with all 4 guys tied. If you have it on a deck or the guys tied not to the ground, you probably wouldn't notice it, but as a free standing tent, it would likely blow away in a storm. I added a 2nd guy to each corner and that helped a bunch. The top foot of the door does have a bit of an opening. If you manually close every time you go in and out the door, you would be fine. I purchased some magnets (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074RLGM7F/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and installed them in the opening. I wrapped them in a layer of duct tape to keep them from potential breakage and then sewed a couple vinyl pockets from some leftover fabric I had. For now, I just pined the pockets to the door. I will sew them to the door when I have more time. If the wind blow, sometimes the door would blow open. The magnets I bought are way stronger than the ones on the tent so I may end up just replacing all of them. The base of the door also needs to be staked down. When you do this, there is an opening at the bottom. I added a vinyl panel at the bottom of the door to extend it and then added a couple magnets there as well. I am going camping in a couple weeks so I will test everything out then and report back with any other suggestions. Overall, this is a decent screen tent. It's very spacious, but as is would likely only keep about 80% of the bugs out.

Can't imagine a summer without it!
Love this screenhouse for the price. Took two of us a half hour to put together. I recommend purchasing an outdoor rug to place it on. Pros: great value; easy assembly; good size; magnets always click back together; my dog easily figured out how to get in/out; I was able to comfortably fit a 7ft couch, a medium coffee table and two Adirondack chairs inside Cons: there are definitely gaps between the magnet attachments and at the door base, but surprisingly the mosquitoes haven't discovered them (knock on wood); mine is on cleared area and when it rains the dirt comes in under the walls (but w the outdoor rug, I just sweep it out once it dries) Update Fall 2018: I have had to buy a new one each season. The first year, when I took it down in the fall with a hurricane on the way, the roof ripped easily and badly. It looked like a summer of being exposed to sun and elements just wore it out. This year I put it up in May and last week (end of Sept), found it collapsed with several broken fiberglass poles. I can't imagine what caused it, as nothing had fallen on it. This is obviously disappointing and I hate to spend $100+ a year (the price keeps changing), but it's the best on the market for what it is.

Perfect for home or recreational use
We bought this for our back patio during the summertime, we have a big problem with gnats and mosquitoes but when we sit outside in this no bugs come in. I shouldn't say no bugs, but the ones that do come in are so frantically trying to get out that they don't bite. We have a child who is one and a half years old and she can operate the door by herself. It opens very easily and the magnets close by themselves, which is perfect when you have children! My daughter can come in and out as she pleases and it's very convenient. It is pretty waterproof, anything that is touching the side of the screen will wick in moisture but the roof keeps the rain out which is pretty amazing. There are two or three small holes which I'll have to figure out how to patch, but we've left it up full time in the sun and the rain for the past few months and it's still in really great condition. I think for the price this is a really excellent screened house. It was very easy to set up and I can imagine taking it to the beach or camping. The flap under the doorway tends to trip you up as you walk through since we have it on a concrete slab, so we just put a doormat on it to hold it down so our daughter doesn't trip over it when she walks in. It's also very windy where we live and it hasn't blown away with the ties that came with it, we have them tied to the house and a tree. I put a large rug inside and it's very comfortable to sit outside while my daughter is playing. I highly recommend it for both recreational use and as a way to get out of the sun and bugs!

Know What You're Getting Into
This lasted a little over a month. I weighted the 4 corners with sandbags and tied one of the sides to a wooden fence. Didn't do anything to the roof, I was sure it would hold up in the rain because of the dome shape, but the roof ended up in pieces with one strong NJ storm. Then of course the whole thing collapsed. The pieces just snapped at the joints. In all fairness, it's flimsy and not built for the purpose I intended it for. I was hoping it would last 2 seasons, being put away for the winters. But this is built more for one-day or weekend events with good weather. With that said, the issue I had with its design was how the bottom of the long sides bowed up, reaching 6" at the middle, which kinda negates the whole "bug screen" feature. If I pulled it down and tried to fasten it to the ground, the doors would pop open. The only thing I could think to do was lay 4 x 6 lumber down to fill the space and cover it with attached threshold. A possible tripping hazzard but pretty visible. Draping the threshold over it gives it the appearance of a step. So if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, you're stuck with this, like me. Like I said, I only need it for this season and next, so spending $700 and up isn't an option. I'm hoping I can get spare parts and figure out how to make this work, but so far I can't find anything.

Good, but not perfect
I bought this screen tent because my previous screen tent was difficult to set up by one person. I felt the TAILGATERZ Magnetic Screen House was easy to set up and was a good quality. I like the magnetic doors - I don't have to worry about broken zippers. The biggest issue about this product is that there is a sizeable gap at the bottom of both doors where bugs definitely come into the tent. I used clips and stakes to minimize this gap, but it is probably at least 2 -3 inches between the screens and the threshold and runs the width of both doors. I don't understand why they didn't simply make the screen longer so it would go over the threshold. You can work around this, but it is annoying.

Stood up to a severe hail/thunderstorm
We used this screen tent for the first time on a camping trip this past week. It was very easy to assemble and lightweight. The magnetic door closures were super helpful, not having to mess with zippers each time going into or out of the tent. But the biggest impression the tent made on me was when a severe hail and thunderstorm came rolling through. As I watched the rain and hail pelt the tent to the point of partially collapsing it, I wondered what it was going to look like when the storm was over. To my surprise, not a thing was damaged. Yes, it partially collapsed, but pulled right back up into place. Not a rip, not a tear, not a broken pole. I am impressed! Great screen tent! Worth every penny!
