Can the magnet damage credit cards?

Most RFID cards, including ID badges and access cards, use passive chips that aren’t affected by standard magnets. Credit and debit cards with EMV chips are also not impacted by magnetic fields. Not advised for use with magnetic strip cards.

Is it suitable for attaching to different types of fabrics?

Yes, it is suitable for shirts, suits, lapels, blouses, and nursing scrubs. For best results, use with lightweight to medium-weight fabrics, as thicker materials like heavy sweaters or bulky outerwear may reduce the magnet’s hold.

Are there any limitations to wearing magnetic badge holders?

Not advised for individuals with pacemakers or implantable medical devices
