Needs a modded system
If you're just looking for an affordable alternative to the official memory cards, I wouldn't recommend getting this. It requires jailbreaking your console, and it was a pain to get it to the point where it used the micro SD card and I didn't have to reinstall the exploit every time I turn the console on. However, if you're planning to mod your console, this is great for extra storage without having to pay the outrageous cost for official cards.I got a 256GB micro SD card for $23, and the adapter for $7. A 64GB memory card, the largest available, is $209 new. You get 4 times the storage for 1/7 of the price, absolutely a no-brainer.The only issue it has is that you can't play your physical games while using it, but since you're modding anyways you can just download the game from PKGj or dump it yourself, and move your save to and from a memory card using Save Manager

Way better than the over priced memory cards
I bought this SD2vita adapter for a PS Vita I just bought and it’s been working great. The card fits and doesn’t stick out.I first used a 128GB then later a 25GB card and it recognized both immediately. It could not be any easier to use. My games load quick, and I haven’t had any issues with lagging. Transferring and backing up cards is so easy and I’m able to just move the card into my computer with the adapter. It is a big time and money saver compared to using the proprietary cards.I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and it hasn’t randomly disconnected or given me any issues whatsoever. This little thing is so inexpensive, but it is such an upgrade to my Vita and makes it way more versatile. It makes added storage simple and super inexpensive. I honestly could not be any happier!

This is not for
I bought these for my modded PlayStation Vita and it loves it!Seriously, if you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t bother purchasing these. This is not for a stock Sony PlayStation Vita that has not recieved certain “improvements”!I’ve seen many an amateur brick many a fine systems because they didn’t know what they were doing.Don’t be one of them. But, for those of you can carefully follow instructions and are willing to accept the risks involved, this is what you need in order to expand storage space exponentially on your modified PlayStation Vita or even the PlayStation (Vita) TV, which is the preferable option.Unlike some, these seem to be relatively durable, and of pretty good quality. A very fine card adapter indeed!Since this is just an adapter, Speed and format are all down to the PS Vita and the capacity and type of micro SD card you use.I typically use 256 micro SD cards, with the same speed requirements needed for Nintendo switch (one) microSD cards. That size and speed is more than sufficient and fully compatible with the system. There is no format capability or video quality to this. It is just a card slot adapter device, but Amazon wanted me to mention it in my review for some reason! They also want me to mention the size, so here you go. It fits perfectly in the cartridge slot of a PlayStation Vita, so don’t worry about it!I have seven Vitas at home using these, and have “set up” several more to use these for other people. All have one of these adapters installed… to increase storage space, wink wink! …and I don’t regret a thing.Lots of extra “storage space” is TIGHT!Highly recommended for those who know what they are doing.

Plug-and-Play Storage Upgrade for PS Vita
This Funturbo SD2Vita 5.0 adapter is built well and feels solid in the game slot. fit is snug so it doesn’t wiggle or lose connection.I paired it with a 256 GB microSD card and the Vita recognized the extra space.transfers are quick, and load times stay fast even with big titles. After weeks of daily play and frequent sleep/wake cycles, it hasn’t glitched or slowed down once.If you want dependable, affordable extra storage for your PS Vita or PSTV, this adapter does exactly what it promises—reliable, high-speed performance in a simple plug-and-play design.

Works perfectly well I had to get another one
I bought it for my PSvita 1000 even though I did bought a 32gb memory card years ago for a good price but it's not enough. I needed an Micro SD card thankfully I got a cheap 128gb and this adapter since I don't want a lot of games on my Vita just enough I have the time to played it. I followed the instructions online how to use it and it was very easy but if you have games link to your PSN account it will corrupt if you transfer it to the Micro SD card you have to redownload them. Now I can add more PSvita games and I only have three physical games but with 128gb you can fit more then 9 or 10 PSvita games that are 3Gb each game also about 50 PSP games since they are smaller in size. This is a godsend for people who want to get into the PSVita these days if you can't afford the newer portable systems.

Slightly pull the SD card up
I got the dreaded issue where the system did not recognize/see any SD card. If you slightly pull up on the sd card while it’s in the slot of this adapter, then everything works. Seems like there’s a slight manufacturing defect with the contacts, but it still worked when adjusted.
