Good way of buying
We get through boxes and boxes of this stuff. Perhaps that is a comment on the cooking abilities of the head chef in our house.

Unappetising and very bland
I have been a fan of 'instant' porridge for many years - although I prefer 'real' porridge or porage my main gripe with the real thing is being left with a messy saucepan. My instant porridge of choice is another brand, but I thought I would give this one a try. Years ago when my children were small I used Ready brek on occasion and they and I quite enjoyed it. I did not like this current incarnation of the product one little tiny bit. It was unappetising, bland and as my husband likes to say it' looks and tastes like wallpaper paste'. Even with the addition of a little honey or Demerara sugar the product was totally lacking in taste. Not for me I'm afraid.
