My favorite phone.
Coming from a former Samsung user who is never going back due to endless Samsung QA issues and Samsung support nightmares, Oneplus has the best non-iPhone experience money can buy in the US market at this time. It is the best phone I have owned so far in my life. The experience has been smooth and flawless, it is clearly a well made phone. It runs completely cool while gaming, where my old S21Ultra Samsung would burn up in my hands running the same games. The OLED display is so easy on the eyes for contrast, color and brightness quality. The battery life easily lasts all day, often I have 50% remaining or more after a day of busy use. It even lasted all day at Disneyland, running the DisneyParks app with full background permissions which is the most intense thing a phone can go through in my opinion. Chipset is fast. Software is fast. Games are fast. OS is a little better than Samsung, I have not experienced any deal breaking bugs in the OS personally outside of some random Bluetooth bugs initially, but that appears to be fixed now with the newer software updates. It's not completely perfect - the only thing I wish was a little better was the cameras, but they are good enough for what I need - just barely. cameras are better than the Samsung S21 Ultra which I had before at least, so good enough for me. If Oneplus ever comes out with a "pro" phone with their usual awesome hardware and upgraded cameras that can compete with or beat Apple I would buy that in a heartbeat. For the United States Phone market, if Oneplus ever stops making phones, the only place to go after this will be Apple, since ASUS is pulling away from the phone market currently, and Samsung now only coasts on their former reputation as a phone maker these days and is not a serious phone maker anymore, at least in my experience. That would be a very sad time. Monopolies are bad for all of us.

Best Phone you can buy
I switched from a Samsung Galaxy s24u Ultra, and I can honestly tell you this phone is the single greatest phone I have ever owned. It is buttery smooth, the customization is endless, the UI is leagues better and more optimized than one UI, the display is better, the speakers are better, with the AI help the cameras are better, and above all the battery is insane. You will struggle to drain it and when you do it charges SO FAST! Absolute game changer. I have no idea why or how Samsung is so far behind. This is the absolute benchmark in smart phones. I cannot recommend this phone enough. Seriously. I remember switching from iPhone to Samsung and thinking"wow what have I been missing all this time??" And now after switching from Samsung to OnePlus I feel that two fold. Just buy it, trust me.

Finally a Phone That Is Actually Worth the Money
After getting burned twice by Amazon Renewed sellers who sent me phones that were misrepresented, locked, or in terrible condition, I decided I was done gambling with refurbishers. I ordered the OnePlus 13 brand new, sold and shipped directly by Amazon, and the difference is night and day. Right out of the box, the OnePlus 13 nails every category that actually matters. Compatibility has been flawless. Every app, network, and accessory just works without the weird glitches I kept running into with Renewed devices. The screen size hits the perfect balance between immersive and comfortable, and the brightness is strong enough that I can read it in full Texas sun without squinting. The build quality is on another level. The scratch resistance is far better than anything I have used recently, and the phone stays surprisingly cool under heavy use with no more random overheating or throttling. Overall functionality is where it really shines. The performance is instant, the battery life is ridiculous, and the whole experience feels premium in a way that reminds you why buying new is sometimes the only sane option. No hidden issues, no surprises, no sketchy sellers. Just a flawless device exactly as advertised. I wish I had skipped the Renewed roulette and bought this from the start. If you are tired of rolling the dice on refurbished phones, do yourself a favor and get the OnePlus 13 new and sold and shipped by Amazon. It is the first time in weeks I have opened a box and actually gotten exactly what I paid for.

Received with an orange warning stating the phone has already switched on. The battery gets drained fast, even when it says 6000mah, returned, still waiting for the refund
