This is a lovely , special way for your child to lean social skills, patterns, shapes, colors, numbers, object names!!! I love this toy. Perfect for my granddaughter, but it is not just a little girls gift, it is for an child that loves to imitate their parents on outing to the beach or park. Interesting, colorful and charming.

Fun toy with lots of parts to keep a child entertained. Very durable plastic and easy to whip down to clean. Parts are stored inside the basket for easy clean up. Two generations of kids have enjoyed these toys and I keep coming back to this line as a go to gift for toddlers. Very portable and easy to pack to take to grandparents house. Child loves the song and sounds. Doesn't annoy the parents too much. :)

I love this, my daughter loves this. She can’t quite do the shapes yet but the holes hold the pieces in place so that she can push them through. It’s really a great first step to understanding how the shapes work. It is sturdy and she plays with it all the time. I bought this for my nieces and nephews years ago and I am so happy it’s still available. In fact my sister still has the one I bought for them years ago so it’s worth the money and it definitely engages my daughter’s attention. I would recommend this for everyone boys and girls alike.

Bought to gift to my granddaughter, 15mos old. She loves the LeapFrog Picnic Basket and my daughter said she plays with it daily. All of the pieces fit inside for easy cleanup.

got this for my baby cousins first birthday and it is soooo cute! it came in just a few hours with ZERO damage. The quality is impeccable. Leap frog is still making great toys after all these years💚

My granddaughter is 19 months. She got this at 17 months. I love everything about it except that it only has 4 different shapes. Also, I don't understand why the forks are so comically huge compared to the plates. She has learned how to say triangle from playing with it and circle too. We are still working on square and She already knew "Twinkle Twinkle", which is what she calls a star. She loves to "pretend eat" the food and also pretends to feed her stuffies with the fork. It is a great product. I will also add that while she loves it, it has to be a supervised toy because she sticks her hand into the shape hole to retrieve the shapes and then gets her arm stuck quite often and then screams if she has access to it unsupervised.. This could be a safety issue or a broken arm if she did that and then fell with her arm in the toy. I can not think of any way to remedy that problem as the shapes and holes for them to fit into have to be large so they can't be a choking hazard. * She also likes to sometimes "cheat" and open the big opening when she can't make a shape fit where she wants it to!

My granddaughter absolutely loves this. She has entertained herself for 20 mins straight with this taking the items in and out, she is just learning now to insert the shapes
