The flavor is on-point delicious — light, fragrant, and honestly better than some stovetop rice I’ve had. I use these constantly with my red beans and rice, white beans and rice, crawfish étouffée… basically anytime I need legit good rice without the hassle. Boom. Ninety seconds. Voila. This cooked rice is surprisingly good. Empty the package into a frying pan and warm up. It’s perfect with the Indian food dishes from the same company or anytime you want rice that’s ready in a couple minutes.

Nothing added to this so you can use all of your preferred seasonings, ghee, olive oil, whatever one is in the mood for in less than 2 minutes! I was craving a bowl of rice and immediately prepared and am eating it now. Yes, more expensive, but you will enjoy the quality and convenience of 'fast food' that's healthy. Con: None for me. Exactly what I had been searching for!

It is hard to find single packages of organic white rice at the grocery stores. These cook quickly in my microwave and are perfect for my stuffed pepper recipe that has cooked ground meat, tomato sauce, rice, celery, and spices.

The taste is okay, but it comes out lumpy. Bought for lunches to go with a madras lentil topping.
