Kecap Manis Sweet Soy Sauce (20.9 ounce)

Very tasty, great quality definitely a delicious buy.

Having spent time in the orient in service, I learned to like Oriental Stir-Fry and boy is this stuff great. The best I have used in many years. Oh, it works great on anything else that that Soy Sauce is used, as well as, many other things.

I was first introduced to Kecap manis when I lived in Europe and our Dutch friends used it as a seasoning. They had a lot of Indonesian food in the Netherlands. When I came home I found this product (a different brand), but it got more and more difficult to find. I then found this product, and it was delicious, so I order it all the time. I use it for stir fry (because it’s sweet and thick, you only need a little bit), and I dilute it to marinate baby back pork ribs, and we cook them on the grill. Wonderful!!

Thus is the second time I've purchased this item. Great taste.

ABC is our go to brand for kecap. My wife is from Java and won't left me use another brand. The stuff is good, similar to molasses and soy sauce. On Amazon though, it's about 2 to 3 times it's usual cost. That's why the three stars. If it was the same price as in the market, it would get 5.

Always added this Kecap Manis to most of my cookings to bring back the memories from home :)

Normally bought this from my local Asian grocery store but lately unavailable. This is a thick, sweet soya sauce a great for chicken on the BBQ. You can use it to marinade, but the typical thinner dish’s are better for that.
