I bought this like anyone else to help with aching muscles and to aid recovery after they gym. I was a little sceptical given some of the reviews, but found the massager to be really good and powerful with a good variation of intensities available to get just what you need out of it, though it's never going to complete with a proper sports massage. The battery issues some have mentioned must have just been issues with those specific ones rather than an inherent issue with the product as I've had no such issues. I've even left it part charged for a month and come back to it and it still had plenty of charge left in it. I have noticed once or twice though that the battery charge indicator has rapidly decreased whilst using it which felt like a concern, but it hasn't affected it as it seems to be a blip and it actually didn't run down fast. Switched it off and left it a day or so and the charge was higher than indicated when it was showing as rapidly decreasing, so rather than a battery issue, it seemed to be an issue with just the charge level indicator have a mind of it's own. So for that reason, I haven't given it 5 stars.The device itself comes in a nice sturdy case with plenty of attachments which are useful for various parts of the body, though I've found that I only need 2 or 3 specific ones.The handle is nice and long which allows you to use it on your back yourself (if you're flexible enough) which was one of the selling points of this over the smaller type ones.given it's size, it's not really something I would really consider putting in a gym bag or weekend bag to go away with, but that's also something I had considered and didn't think I needed it.

I have had a meniscus problem with my left knee which I have had for a couple of months. I found out that it was caused by inflammation due to tight muscles in my thigh and calf so I invested in this. I have only been using it for a couple of days but I have already noticed the difference. The massage gun is a sturdy piece of kit that comes in a durable case with a charger and several attachments which are held in a drawstring bag. The unit is switched on by an on/off switch on the bottom that lights up the display on the massager. The increased power can go up to 30 by the use of plus and minus but I have been using it on 2 and that is adequate. The sound is not noisy at all. I have been using it a couple of times each day (morning and evening) and it has already helped. I think the price for this was excellent. I recommend it.
