Why did you pick this product vs others?:It was recommended to me by my sister. It was a really good price, we have been using it for a couple days and it charged our controllers pretty quickly.

I had a ps4 controller from Sony that the charging port shredded up inside. It has been out of use for months and months, maybe a year.. and I couldn’t bring myself to throw it away. So in hopes to save this controller, I bought this item. Unfortunately, it did not charge my Sony ps4 controller (even after sitting overnight charging) but it charges all my off brand ps4 controllers I bought here on amzon. From a company that starts with a Y. But all in all, it is working. I just have to replace the Sony. And I’m sure it will be a success on this charging dock. Had it for a while, live with rough children, and it holds up, so 5 stars.It’s April 2023, the thing actually broke about 3 months ago. Like I said, those rough kids of mine, 5,7, and 8 yr old twins. They think they know everything… they couldn’t wait for me to do this for them so they were putting it on and taking it off the charging dock themselves, now, the controllers don’t connect all the way on it, like something is clogged in the controller preventing it from sitting nice and flush to charge, even though it appears to have no damage or any flaws, and nothing is in the controller so it’s mind boggling why it won’t sit, maybe it’s on a bend that won’t allow it, so, I think they broke it, and I just bought another one, it should be here today, I ordered it the 4th and it’s the 8th of April now. It’s a good product, for me and you, but not for any kids to be handling. They are so rough and don’t know how things work, like when to apply force or be gentle. So, be careful, the prongs may bend. Even tho I’m still not too sure about that. I also picked up a Sony controller and will get some more unbranded ones and update again later.

Good, exactly what I needed

Great product doesn't charge fast unfortunately good for storing your controller when not playing so there charges when you hop on. The little controller icon changes color if it's charged or not. I do recommend if your normal charging port is broken saves controllers
