Hawkins brand has been in my family for last 50 years or so. Their products are always high quality and this tava is no exception. I was little concerned about metal handle getting hot to touch, but it does not. Thanks Amazon for selling this.

This product really looks good and I was eager to use it. However,after several uses, I found it tarnished very quickly despite all efforts to maintain the shine. This was disappointing. As far as functionality, the Tava works great. You have to remember to oil it after each use.

even though i looked up the review and purchased this product.. this is a horrible product and it was not i was looking for .. the reviews said this is non stick tava and it's not true.. I have made roti and sure enough it does stick .. I wish I can return this .. But I don't this it will allow me to return. Very disappointing.. waste of money ..

Very good quality

I cooked regularly when I was in India but never came across this Tava. I owned a traditional Cast Iron tawa produced locally and also another non-stick tava. All in all this tava is better than either.It's production quality is top notch. Hawkins is a trusted brand. I had concerns about the metallic handle before I bought it. But in practice it is cool to the touch and has a clearly marked line beyond which it magically never heats up.The hard anodized cooking surface takes a little getting used to (if you are used to cast iron), but has great non-stick properties while not sacrificing the smooth surface finish that is required in a tava to be effective.

This pan ,I would not recommend to anyone, you can get burnt very easily. It doesn't sit on the stove yo have to hold it to balance gosh it's bad

It is much deeper than I thought which makes it hard to use it on stove. It tilts to the handle side. And the surface gets stained pretty easily which is hard to clean.
