These lights work very well. I have had them for a year now and they have survived -20°F in a Wisconsin winter and it didn’t even phase them. They do not flicker or dim, and they put out a lot of light. They are, however, not for the novice installer. If you try wiring these directly to your tail lights, you will most likely throw error codes on your dash. Most modern cars can sense the extra amperage draw and cause error codes. When wired properly, you will need four 12 V DC relays (one for left turn signal, one for right turn signal, one for running lights, and one more for interior cabin lights). You will need to map out your tail light wiring, and use these as triggers for the relays. You will need one more trigger wire going to your dome light circuit. All four of these relays can be powered by one external power source. Usually a fuse tapper to a heavy duty circuit in your fuse box. I promise you though, it is worth the effort! The two pictures I provided are these lights operating at dusk and the other at night. I would definitely buy these again!

I have 2024 Toyota tundra crewmax LB. Did not come with instructions but a lot of youtube videos available. Needed courtesy light for the kids stepping onto the running board. Found tapping into bed light turn on when any door is open. Test different location and found install on the frame two inch up had the best lighting output. I ran into problem when tap in bed light. The tap I use broke the hot and neutral wire. I had to repaire the wire. This is not plug and play project. Match bed light color. I bought the 72 inch non-sequential. Once I finished I put clear RTV on the bottom and top of led strip.

Nice and bright. Works with or without parking lights on, unlike the ones I removed. Have had several OPT7 products in past, wish I would have found this before the other. The only suggestion I have is a protective coating on the wires coming out of the light for at least 10 inches to hide wires and abrasion. I added a protective sleeve and heat shrink to protect the wires. Length is perfect for the crew cab GM truck. I wanted non-sequential lights, now I have them. Recommendations to anyone: Clean your surface well, then use a 3M primer 94 for a more permanent adhesion, layout and plan your install.

These look amazing and were fairly easy to install once I found the correct wire to tap into for the puddle lamps. They are super bright at night though so I would either buy some night shade or put them at a very very low point of a truck because it will shine into cars next to you. The turn signal setup on them is really cool how it waits to turn them back on. My only complaint in that the puddle lights, when they turn off they sort of flicker the darker it gets.

Pretty easy set up the Scotchlock clamps that come with the kit wasn’t enough I had just enough to complete one side. With that being said. The clamp wasn’t big enough for me that I felt comfortable using for my ground gauge wire. So I hardwired it in.. Mechanical difficulty 3 of 5 Good luck. I gave up fighting cramming my hands in the door hole to push up the connection. So I just took my door off and it helped reconnecting the door connection effortlessly. Use two people for proper alignment

They aren't as bright as the company advertised.

Looked and worked great for 4 years. White LEDs are now burning out on one side. Does not last for life as indicated. Cheap enough to replace i suppose.

These are sweet in my truck. Needed to take it in to a shop to get it installed on my 2023 gmc sierra

Was looking for amber led all weather strip lights for the front of the holiday trailer , as soon as opening the box, you can tell you’re not gonna have a problem with rain water penetrating them very high-quality and 5x brighter then the cheap led strips that came with the trailer very happy with the product makes me want to cover my trailer with them lol
