Secure all-weather key storage
I have a small strongbox for important papers that has both key and biometric access. Problem is, biometrics don't work reliably, so I wanted a secure way to keep the key nearby. A lockbox with a reasonable number of combinations provided the answer. Mine is used in-house but weatherproof for exterior use. It mounts securely with up to six bolt holes and a rubber cover to protect the entire unit. There are 10 mechanical buttons that can be programmed with 3, 4, or 5 numbers of your choice. The numbers all have to be different and are not sequence-sensitive which limits the combinations, but there are enough to discourage combination-guessing. Given enough time, a skilled hacker could figure it out but first has to be aware of the lockbox existence and then find wherever the owner has hidden it. The build quality is excellent; it appears to need heavy power equipment to break into, so remember the combination!

It's just what I wanted.
Came quickly, on time. It's already installed and in use.

The unit is sturdy !
Unit was easy to setup and install, buttons were easy to configure. Tye only issue I had was a little slop in the door when it's closed. I would have rather a tighter fit, but in all it serves the purpose I got it for.

Works great
One thing I discovered is that you don't have to input code is sequence. All you need to do is depress the numbers in any sequence and it will unlatch. The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to input code in order to unlatch when you want to close the cover. I wish it would have a simple push to latch feature. some complain about it being difficult to setup, but I found it to be rather easy. Maybe user error for others.

Not waterproof unless in the rubber boot!
Replacement for same unit in service two years. First one is rusted closed. Rubber boot hard to use and lasts about a year. Good solid unit. Some have trouble with it as they do not press the buttons in to a "click". Some cannot understand the "clear" function. Works for those who use it right.

Cheap feeling buttons
Installs super easy: comes with the needed hardware, including drywall anchors. Never seen one that comes with a rubber cover for it which might make it last longer. My problem with this one is the keys are super soft to press. I’ve used many of these and never felt one where the buttons felt so cheap and easy to press down. I’m concerned it won’t last very long or hold up to much use. We shall see.

Does the job
Fells a little light weight compared to another, similar box I have, but it seems to work just as well. I have only been using it for a month or so.

Get one!
Set the code to the last 4 digits of your phone number or something the family remembers and save a wet cold wait fir someone else to come home. Use it once and you are glad you have it!!!Slightly loose feeling door latch. But hey, if someone is going to go to the trouble to smash this thing open to get the key. They could be through a window likely quieter and easier.
