The net will clamp on to any table that is 2" thick or less. Have fun playing! **Q: If the table is thicker than 2 inches, can you just set it on table or will it fall over?** A: It will not work on a table thicker than 2". No way will it just stand by itself and I haven't figured out any other solution. Our vacation place table is too thick and so we haven't been able to use it there. Wish I could think of a solution because in every other way this is great fun **Q: What if the lip on our table is only 3/8 inch? Is that enough?** A: Yes. We have used it on many different type tables including our camp table. Great buy for the grand kids but grandma can kick it too! **Q: How thick is the foot on the table clamp on the bottom side of the table. s** A: The pull-down foot fits onto our dining tabletop which is about 3/4 inch thick. The packaging says the clamp can fit onto up to 2” table.
