This game is becoming a quick family favorite. I’d also like to point out that we have a teenager with special needs who has never really enjoyed family game night over the years (turn taking, strategy, rules, etc are too much) but he has a fabulous imagination and sense of humor so this game has been a perfect way to include EVERYONE. Laughs that can include all of our kids get 5 stars from this mom!

This game is so much fun! It's kind of played like Apples to Apples, where you have a judge who reads a card and people choose cards from their hand. But, instead of words, like in Apples to Apples, the judge reads a scenario in which you are face to face with a murderer. You choose 3 cards from your hand to create a scenario in which you escape the situation. So, you may have to come up with a story about how you escaped a scary clown using a salad spinner, a hockey stick, and a birthday cake. The judge listens to everyone's stories and chooses the winner. In my family we usually choose the funniest story, but sometimes we judge on who is the most violent (hey, you've got to mix it up a little). Either way, the game is fairly quick, and lots of fun. It can be hilarious for older teens and adults. Some of the scenarios may be scary for younger kids.

It's a very creative way to use the card scenarios to avoid death and quite fun between friends, my only complaint witch isn't much of it if that you need at least 4 people you can play woth 3 but it doesn't move right.

This was a present for a teenager. She played it with a group of friends and they ended up having a blast and buying it as well. They even made their own rules. The oringinal rules are fast and easy to learn. Cards are thick and seem to be made of good quality paper.

A bit of an odd game. Its similar to cards against humanity but you have to make the "story" funny or horrifying it's up to you or the judge. We've played it a couple of times with our kids and they both find it funny. We had to remove a few cards bc they were inappropriate for our 9 and 13cyr old. The cards are made well and it's a family game otherwise if you and your family don't take things too seriously. It was easy to learn and an ok purchase for the money.

This game is so much fun. It uses thoughtful prompts to encourage you to use as much or as little imagination as you want. Will enjoy playing this with family and friends for years.

Our family loves this game! We keep it in the car so we can play on long car rides or even in a restaurant while we wait for a table - We have children ages 11 and 16...had to weed out a few cards, but overall, very family friendly!

There are 2 ways to play this! We got this for a car road trip game, and the instructions clearly say: you can pick the murder scenario, draw three item cards and yell out your version of how to avoid death. This option is great for 2 ppl, great for car road trips, and it quickly turned a 3-hour trip into something that felt like a short 45-minute drive. If you're going to see family and want some stories to tell when you get there, insert family members' names into the scenarios. Everyone will be laughing and wanting to play. With the 12- to 14-year-old age group, they love this fast version of the game because they can get really creative. They aren't worried about the plan actually working in real life; they come up with really off-the-wall stuff that will have adults in tears laughing so hard. This is hands down the best game I've bought in a really long time! Side note: there are 2 or 3 items that aren't little-kid-friendly. One of which is a condom, so to avoid that conversation of explaining what it is lol, look through the deck and take out what you don't want to explain. I removed 2 out of 300 items. Put them back when playing with adults only. I read other reviews for games like this and have since gotten in the habit of checking all games before playing to be more inclusive for younger players at family gatherings.

The store page says that the game can be played with 2+ players. I bought it for this reason, as I was getting games to play with my mom when I visit. The fact that the actual box itself says 3+ players, makes the game unplayable for us.
