Amazfit Active 2 Smart Watch, 1.32" AMOLED Display, GPS, iOS/Android

I absolutely LOVE this watch! It's light, sleek-looking, well-made, and super-functional! I've loved every Amazfit watch I've ever purchased, from the Bip, to the GTR, the GTR4 to the the Active square model. This one has become my new favorite! It's essentially the GTR4 with newer features, but not as much memory. My GTR 4 is my go-to hiking watch because I can store larger maps on it; but for everyday use, the Active 2 is great and beats out the GTR 4 in many ways! I love the better sensors, especially for sleep-tracking, heartrate, and temperature. But this watch has improved the overall health metrics, so it helps me keep better track of things. The GPS is very accurate, the workouts enough for me (though they need to add some for cutting the grass and raking leaves! ). There are a lot of decent free watch faces to choose, and some really nice ones if you want to spend a little. I tend to go with the more modern digital look, although there are some great minimalist analog watch faces that look elegant as well. I didn't think I would like the band with all the holes, but it does help keep my wrist cooler during workouts. And I can always swap out the band. So many people have complimented on the look of the watch, and they are impressed with the features and battery life. I get about 10-12 days with regular use and a few GPS outdoor bike workouts during the week. People are also impressed at the Red Cross when I check in for platelet donations using the membership cards feature. I think people just can't believe this nice-looking watch can do so much....navigation, workouts, weather, music player, alarms, stopwatch, compass and barometer, blood oxygen, one-tap measuring of vitals, the more accurate sleep features...and on and on! I may have to give away my Active square watch, just because it's hard to take the Active 2 off (I love the square watch too...super light and almost the same features as this one!)! Anyway, for around $84 (probably less these days) you can't beat this. I know they've come out with newer models, but for general use, this can't be beat! I highly recommend it. Peace!

I've been using this for about a week now and am very pleased with my purchase. It's packed with features on par with my former Garmin Venu 2S (which lasted ~2.75 years). Admittedly, I don't use all the features other than basic activity tracking, health metrics reporting, and smart watch integration with my phone. Pros - Battery life After a week with GPS and most notification turned off, my battery level is about 40%+. I estimate I can go for 10 days before a charge. - Zepp app is more data than I care to track but is subscription fee free (unless you want to upgrade). - Watch face is 4mm bigger than my Venu 2S but I don't even notice the difference now. Several font sizes and watchfaces to choose from. You can also choose shortcuts for the two watch buttons. Touchscreen is responsive. - Strap design is smart without the hanging strap holder piece sliding around. There are plenty of 3rd party watch straps too. - Supposedly more water resistant than my Garmin. It even has a cool water ejection feature. I suspect my Garmin may have started to fail due to loss of moisture resistance. I'm not even that athletic. - It uses a standard USB C charging cable (plus a small coin size magnetized adapter that sticks to the back of the watch)! I'm going to have to be careful not to misplace this. - I appreciate the stated data privacy design. Cons - I've used it too briefly to compile a list except for a couple. - Kind of minor for me but the Spotify music compatible app is no longer supported so I need to research how to listen to my playlists on this watch, if possible. - The Zepp app seized up my phone the other day and I had to stop the app to use my phone again. That was very strange and I have never had an app do this to my phone before. Not sure how durable this is and time will tell. However, this watch is a fraction of the Garmin at less than $100 so even if it died in a year, it will still have outperformed my Garmin. Coming from Fitbit prior to Garmin, I had high hopes when my Venu passed it's 2-year mark. It's something like $9/month if I amortize the watch over its useful life. I made a conscious decision to spend less this time so I am not disappointed if the watch fails in a year or two.

I'm pleasantly surprised at this watch and its capabilities. I send back another smart watch, and for the $10 extra it was a major gain in what you get for the money, very good value Pro's 1. The Zepp app is really nice and has a lot of information 2. A lot of features, more than I need 3. The synching to my IPhone was a breeze and it appears after 2 weeks to be consistent, I have had other that were hit and miss if it connected or not 4. The watch looks nice 5. I'm not a fan of rubber straps, but like this one. 6. The watch is easy and bright to read 7. Get a good 7-10 days battery life, don't have to charge to often 8. GPS tracking on map when sensing you run or walk 9. Sleep tracking seems to be fairly good and nice interface showing results 10. Notification vibrations are strong, so you don't easily miss it. You cannot adjust the level Con's 1. Zepp app has a lot, but many times a pain to find what you want 2. Sometimes says I'm exercising, but I'm driving. 3. Finding your watch from the App, it buzz and don't use the speaker, sound a no brainer to use the speaker as well 4. The AI bot only helps with phone features and not sending it to answer simple questions I don't know how accurate it is on step counts, so will not comment on that. Not really using this for fitness tracking, so cannot comment on al the features in this category. So all an all I'm very happy, think some of the con's can be easily fixed with a software update

My trusty Polar M400 that I've been using or several years finally died about a month ago. Knowing this would happen, I've been searching for a new heart rate monitor for several months. Unfortunately, Polar watches are no longer what they once were and seem to have reliability issues and I have to move on from their brand. Qualities I wanted: -Not ridiculously overpriced watch like Apple, Garmin, etc. -Repairable when the battery stops holding charge. -Long battery life between charges. -More features I need than don't need. -Subscription free to use features that were standard with all my Polar watches. -Compatible with the reliable Polar chest strap monitor from my M400, or other brands for that matter. -Similarly sized to all of my other watches, and not massive like some watches. -Visible screen in bright sunlight. -Interval training sessions. -Other things that I can't think of at the moment. I never heard of Amazfit, and I couldn't get a definitive answer if it worked with a chest strap for heart rate monitoring, but it was very reasonably priced compared to what I've paid for my exercise watches in the past and other watches that were compatible with a chest strap, so I gave it a shot since it was reduced for Prime Day. After tinkering with the watch upon completing the initial set up, I was delighted to discover it had a Bluetooth accessory feature that enabled the watch to utilize my Polar chest strap during workouts. From my experience, using a chest strap has been more accurate during exercise and was able to detect, but not diagnose atrial fibrillation that eluded a friends expensive Apple watch and the reason I'm adamant about continuing to use a chest strap monitor for workouts. After a few weeks of use and several workouts, I have to say it has almost all of the features I wanted, and performed quite well. I've only charged it twice in the few weeks I've used it, and I really like the magnetic charging adapter because there is no way for it to stop working like a usb port that fails from repeated use over time. This watch loses one star for the following reasons, and could almost lose two for the nonvisible screen issue. Even though the watch is very bright in sunlight, it completely disappears if you wear polarized sunglasses which you will need to take off to read the watch. It's unfortunate that Amazfit didn't think to orientate the polarization of the watch face vertically like sunglasses to avoid this problem. Additionally, the paired Zepp app has many useful features and offers numerous watch faces, but the vast majority of watch faces are too visually noisy with graphics and cluttered with every little bit of unnecessary information. I also find it annoying that all of the digital watch faces always display time with a leading zero and mostly about the same size as the other displayed information without any way to make a customizable watch faces. If I'm not exercising the only information that is really relevant at a moments notice is the time, date, and remaining battery, whereas all other information like step count, heart rate, weather, etcetera is better saved for the customizable screen swipe or button press. Lastly, there is no way to create a custom activity nor manually enter VO2 data derived from other sources into the watch settings to more accurately track fat burning, aerobic, anaerobic activity, etc. Overall, I would buy another one of these watches or give as a gift, and hope Amazfit makes a couple improvements to the quirks I mentioned to future models. I think this watch is very comfortable to wear as I sometimes can't tell I'm wearing it. This watch will serve almost anyone's daily needs and workouts as it has almost every exercise activity one might want to track. It has very good battery life, music controls, fairly good customization, a reasonable learning curve, and a very reasonable price.

I've waited about 3 months to write this review. And I must say I love this watch! You can't beat the price compared to other name brand watches. It does all that I need and more. To me it is comparable to the name brand watches, it does pretty much all that they do. I find that the sleep tracker is pretty accurate, even when I am taking a nap it records it as sleep. I haven't had any issues with it so far. But I also use it for minimal day to day usage. I'm not hard core into working out so I don't need it to track that for me. It is capable if tracking with GPS if it's connected to your phone if that's something you're needing. It does not smart track your workout like other name brand watches do, BUT you can track it for yourself manually and it will track from there. The screen quality is great, you can answer/decline calls from it but not use it for voice chat. You cannot connect to Spotify to control music, which is a downer for me but I'll live. The design is very sleek and it is super light weight. The amount of watch faces that are in their app was surprisingly alot and they were of good quality as well. I would buy again in the future if I ever need to, but I don't see myself needing to replace this anytime soon.

I am not a big tech person. I don't need the latest, most name brand, most current tech. My son ordered this watch and was touting how much he likes it so I thought I'd try it. For the price it does so much and I find myself deleting some of the apps I had on my phone since this covers it. When I was trying to get healthy (when I began getting healthier) I downloaded some apps. I have had a weight tracking app, a step counter app, the number of hours I slept app, and a food tracker app. I got rid of all of those. You can scan your pulse, oxygen, etc on demand or schedule it to track it every five minutes. It will beep if you set the pulse or stress level you want to stay under and you go over that. I feel that the step counter is about as accurate than many and more accurate than the one on my phone. When I turn my wrist to look at the watch the screen comes on. When I get a message, unless I'm in sleep mode, the screen comes on attracting my attention. It buzzes quietly (unless it's on a table) so I can be somewhat discreet when reading messages. I have had no problem charging it and while I don't track the battery life, it appears that I charge this every few days and it stays charged for a long time. My problem with many watches are that they are too big (fat, stick up too high off my wrist) and I ended up snagging them or banging them on everything. This is a little bit bigger screen than I want but it lays low on my wrist and I do not snag or bump it anymore than I would a normal watch.

I purchased this to replace a Huawei GT3 Smart watch which I loved but finally could not deal with the fact that the US limited its capabilities by not allowing application support. The feature list of this Active 2 was basically the same except for the music storage capabilities & dual band GPS. I ordered this Active 2 and wore it in conjunction with the GT3 to compare the data collected by both to compare accuracy. I compared them for several days and I must say this Active 2 basically compared toe to toe with the GT3 in terms of accuracy! The Heart Rate, SPO2, Steps, Sleep Data were all basically the same very minor differences. Sleep numbers were within minutes of each other. The time it took to grab a GPS satellite was actually quicker with the Active 2 and the GPS accuracy as far as route was basically equal. I needed it to track and notify me in terms of water intake and that was a simple app download and install from the Amazfit app list! So far, this smart watch has been amazing, it is great looking and the battery life is incredible, I have had it 9 days and it is at 12% still! Really the only strike against it is not having music storage! This thing in my opinion is able to give most any well known smart watch a run for its money if not out right beat it at only $100 which is no easy task these days! I am not a huge fan of the included band but it functions well, I chose a nylon one with velcro for a more custom fit but this is a matter of opinion and not really a knock on the watch!

The Good: I have worn this watch for 2 months now. I find it to have good accuracy with GPS compared to my Samsung phone. The sleep function seems accurate but I have no real way to verify it. At least it doesn't give me crazy durations or fail to log sleep like some other watches I have used. The step counter is accurate. The O2 and heartbeat are accurate when compared to my pulse oximeter. It has a lot of built-in features and the app is better than most I have used with a large number of dial faces available. I have all functions enabled and consistently get 6 - 7 days of battery life depending on the amount of time with GPS in use. The Not so Good: One nice feature is the AI coupled Zepp Flow that allows you to give voice commands like "set a 5 min. timer" or ask questions about the weather etc. Unfortunately, a firmware update some days ago has broken this feature and it no longer works. Also, the AI feature monitors your steps and decides to begin a workout. It cannot be disabled (as far as I know). It does give you a warning via vibration but this is too weak for me to detect sometimes (I have it on max vibe) so I fail to deactivate it in time. I really have no use for this feature and it annoys me. Additionally, the morning updates that appear every day are repetitive and basically useless and they also cannot be disabled. For instance " ... it seem you woke up several times last night ..." ok thanks I'll stop doing that. Conclusion: I got this watch on Prime Day with $20 off - the price was $80 and I would say it is a good value. It is thin and good looking and has a good band. While I don't give 5 stars on products unless there are no issues, I can recommend this one.

Il enregistre sur strava directement sans toucher une fois à l'application au top Pour les messages, on peut répondre en vocal où il ecrit le texte et/ou un petit clavier ce met sur la montre pour écrire ou corriger ce qu'on a dit dans le vocal Franchement super content. Le seul inconvénient c'est quand on court avec la montre, tout les km, il te disent ton chrono et ton allure au km en anglais et actuellement on ne sait pas le mettre en français peut être durant d'autres mise a jours

Excelente producto. La verdad el reloj cumple con todas las expectativas, y creo que tiene lo mismo que otros de “gama alta” La verdad es muy buena opción para alguien que quiere enfocarse en el deporte como una herramienta. No le pide nada a relojes mayores de $2500 pesos.
