I recently placed an order for 4lbs of step 3 pre-polish aluminum oxide from MJR Tumblers, and was pleasantly surprised that each lb was separated into 4 heavy duty ziplock bags. This allows me to store just wants needed in my storage ben, while keeping my extra product in the semi air tight bag which it was shipped in. I was also impressed with there product line, I struggled to find 400 to 600 grit in the aluminum oxide on Amazon, but I am happy MJR Tumblers turned out to be the only one I could find, because i plan on making more orders with this company😊 they also sent some great literature along with my order, including knowledge of there FB page I can join and share my passion with other Rock Hounders🥰 Thank you for this service AND a Special Thanks for your Service 🫡100% satisfied customer!!!

The best polish. Don't trust the kits on here, you need 8000 and above in final stage to get a good polish. This works really well. Always burnish afterwards to complete the stones.

This is the extra fine grit you need for stage 4 or even stage 5 to provide extra polish to your tumbled media. It provide a great shine.

I’m new to rock tumbling and for my first batch used the grits that came with my tumbler. After the full 4 week process I wasn’t happy with the shine, so I sought out a better product for a final polish rather than resorting to mineral oil and faking it. The difference this made with 4 days as a second final polish was amazing, even basalt has come up with a shine. I added a spoonful of baking soda to the barrel with this and there was no fizzing/pressure, and rinsing off was easy and quick. I’ve not tried this as step 4 (rather than adding a second polish as step 5) but will do on my next batch.

Buena calidad y precio, pero no me sirvió pues no me dió buen resultado para lapear metal, debido a que aún cuando su consistencia es muy fina, concluyó que necesito un material más fino para obtener un pulido acabado espejo lo cual no obtuve con este producto.

This is sold as polish. It is not polish. So t buy this if you are looking for something to polish your stones with. Waste of money.
