South Shore Versa 2-Drawer Nightstand, Winter Oak, 23 in x 17.75 in x 25.25 in

We had looked at many different nightstands that were between $150-$300.. and they weren’t even that sturdy.. ended up ordering two of these grey nightstands with fingers crossed that they were decent. Expectations were met and beyond met! Beautiful night stands for a decent price! Assembly was long, but the parts were packed nicely and directions were easy to follow. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice product for a good price.

I love this side table! I was so nervous that it would be bad quality or very wobbly, but so far so good! It took about an hour and a half to put together on my own. The pieces are very similar to Ikea furniture. It definitely would have been even easier and faster with another person, but like I said I was able to do it alone. Some other reviews said the pieces didn’t fit together properly, but I did not have that problem. I feel that I might have had issues if I had used a power screwdriver. The one time I did have an issue with fit, I double checked and I was putting a piece in backwards. 🤦‍♀️ Overall, I think this was a good value for my money, but of course, this is only day one.

Item was relatively easy to assemble. Sides and top are heavy and sturdy. Back is one of those pieces of cardboard you nail into place. Drawer sides are sturdy but I was concerned about drawer bottom. I will say, however, so far so good. Who puts heavy weight items in a nightstand anyway? The worst part? The off-gassing of the chemical (formaldehyde?) smell is pretty strong. With it right next to me as I'm sitting in bed I can really smell it. I'm going to try sprinkling/rubbing baking soda all over it, then wiping/vacuuming it out. If not for the smell, so far nothing to really complain about. All in all I'm very happy with it. Serves its purpose.

Love this furniture. I put both nightstands and the 6 drawer dresser together by myself (I am a 60 year old lady with arthritis pretty much everywhere). It would have been easier with two people (which the instructions recommend) but it just took me a little longer to do alone. The first nightstand took about 2 hours, the second one was under an hour. It helps a lot if you understand how to use a cam lock (I think this company calls them Kwik Kams or something). Once you get the hang of using those, these become very easy to assemble and incredibly sturdy furniture. But these are NOT top of the line hardwood furniture. For the money they are pretty amazing. Still, if you think these are flimsy you probably did not get the cam locks working correctly. I saw other reviews where people had problems with the handles not tightening. On some of the handles, the little channel for the screws to go into are too short therefore making the screws too long. You can either shorten the screws with one of those little screw shortener or more simply, get a little box of flat washers for about 2 bucks and put a washer or two on the screw and then tighten them down and they will now tighten all the way. Out of about 12 handles I had to put washers on 10 of them. Nobody would ever know they are there. I am very happy with this furniture and it goes with my faux leather white headboard very nicely. The only thing to mention might be that depending on what other colors you have in your room or what color your carpet is, the grey color might have a slightly green tint.

I bought two of these, matching dresser and double dresser. If you don't want to break the bank on furniture but you want something that looks nice, then I don't think you can go wrong with these. I found them pretty simple to assemble. The only thing I don't like is the cardboard back. I suppose it reduces weight and price doing it that way. I also reviewed the dresser and will review the double dresser in the near future. I haven't fully assembled it yet.

I was hoping this product wasn't as dark as the pictures made it seem, and it wasn't! It is a nice grey color. It is very sturdy and wasn't hard to put together. If I ever need another nightstand, i'd order this one again for sure!

Easy to assemble and 8 months later they are still holding up!!

The nightstand looks great and is high quality. The instructions had significant problems: 1- the first step of the actual assembly instructions start on page 5 but it doesn't say Step 1, Step 2, etc. No obvious transition from initial information to the actual assembly process. 2 - part number 231 is never referenced in the steps of the instructions (should be on page 6). 3 - in several places there are multiple steps included in one drawing that are confusing (it would also be too confusing to try to describe those here).
