Best AC unit ever
This was a quick and easy install weighs a lot less than the old unit cools down a camper a lot quicker and is a lot quieter. Once it comes off of turbo mode, but even on turbo mode is still quieter than the old unit on high Will highly recommend to anybody, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law even said that when there goes out, they’re gonna upgrade their to this style. I’ve got mine installed on a fifth wheel Camper 37 footer one AC unit only and does amazing.

Very good, even in Texas heat
Fantastic A/c. Really like i can keep it on and that the power consumption is reasonable. Fantastic for any temp at 100 f or under. It does struggle as a vented AcC over that temp, but I suspect so doew everything else. It really is good, quiet, and works great. A mini split in a single package.

Worth the money.
Easy to install. Quiet. We can finally watch TV and have a conversation in our 5th wheel RV without turning the volume up. On dry mode it really sucks the humidity out of here when it is humid outside. Plus, we don't have to get up and change the thermostat. The remote control now hangs by our couch so we can easily adjust the temperature in the room. Money well spent.

Loud compressor noise on the Furrion Chill Cube
The installation was easy. Loved the way the air box (plentum) was designed with the return air grill right under the return air hole and the controls and temperature display right there handy on the cover. Loved that it had a remote control so I did not have to get out of bed to adjust the temperature. I bought the Furrion Chill Cube because of all the videos and reveiws I read that really bragged on how quiet it was. Well, the sound of the compressor was horrible! Maybe I got a bad one or it was dropped during shipment, but it vibrated the whole RV. Even the floor! The compressor was varible speed and when it ramped up it sounded like a semi truck cranking up and when it ramped down it sounded like a semi truck "jake" breaking! It was louder than my old unit! We spent three nights camping with it and the ramping up and down would wake us up. I took the cover off when we got back home and the compressor was even shaking the pipes and the evaporator. Those soldered joints on the pipes would not last long with all that vibrating going on! Oh, also the new cover was smaller and did not cover some of the old screw holes. Very disappointed! I took it back off and returned it. I'm glad I did not hire someone to install it and take it back off!

Furrion Chill Cube is awesome! Modern A/C for RVs, efficient, greater BTUs, wireless thermostat
One of the best upgrades I could have ever done. I've been RVing for 30+ years, owned many RVs also. This A/C unit with 18k BTUs and variable compressor with a wireless remote is an awesome step forward for cooling RVs! I read were some complained about the unit not being complete, that falls on them for not reading the details when they purchased. It clearly covers that you need to order the distribution side for either ducted or non-ducted. Very easy install, just connect the AC power and close it up. All you need is the remote, where ever the remote is, is where the temp is measured...take it to the bedroom or living-room to suit your temp needs. I very much like that I can now run everything off 30 amps shore power, are needs in the past if we wanted to run both A/C units were 50 amps...no longer. The only thing I would offer for esthetics would be to shorten the height. These Chill Cubes are tall compared to others I've owned...and I've probably owned most all of them. I consider the price fair for what you get. I really liked not having to wire another thermostat too!

Super efficient and "cool" RV AC.
I replaced my 12 year old Dometic AC that came with my RV with this Chill Cube AC. I am super impressed, the amount of cooling and the current draw is like night and day. I have very rarely used the Dometic AC unit (maybe 3 - 4 times in total) as it had a huge inrush that would overpower my generator causing it to disconnect. It also did not cool very well. This new Furrion unit addresses both issues. The RV was at 72 degrees in a 95 degree full sun wheather, Dometic could never do, at the same time drawing half the energy at around 850W. I have a solar setup with 6 300AH batteries and around a 3kW BougeRV Yuma solar panels (that I also love), I can run my AC unit just on that. On cloudy days I can use my Honda EU2000i generator without any problems. I bought Breeze Max to control the unit over the internet / remotely and another thermostat, cheap Emerson battery operated, relay for heat only thermostat for my propane heater as the Furrion unit does not have ability to control the heater. The installation went smoothly and the unit works super well. Did I mention it's super quiet in the ducted mode? It's footprint (on the roof) is also much smaller than the Dometic. I am super happy with this AC, I will definitely use it a lot more than my previous Dometic unit as now I can, no more putting up with a 90 degree RV. Highly recommend this game changing product, if you are a boondocker, you need this!

Don’t second guess this unit. It’s really awesome
It takes a lot to impress me and I must say. I was very skeptical even after reviews I read, and videos I seen on YouTube. This unit is super, super quiet and moves a lot of cool air. I have a 35 foot fifth wheel and it’s been cooling every area effortlessly. The soft start is very soft and insulation was a breeze.

Remote control is random, sometimes it works other times it doesn't.. It never turns off.
Great air conditioner but the remote control does not work very well. You cannot get feedback when you use remote control. There's an LED on the air conditioner but it's not reflect what you push on a remote control I have several other air conditioners with remote control and whenever I use the remote control it shows up on the air conditioner. Also the remote control only operates if you directly under the air conditioner. Very limited range. Sometimes it does not seem to connect to the air conditioner at all. Right now the air conditioner is showing Fahrenheit again. Also the operations seems perfect and the remote control is working great! A basic summary is that it is completely unreliable in its operations. The temperature is set to 86°. The current temperature is 78°. The air conditioner is still running cold air? When will it shut down? It never turns off. Even when the temperature drops down the 74°, the air conditioner is still blowing air. I set the temperature to 80°. When I turned it on when the room temperature is 64°, it still fired up!

NOT COMPLETE UNIT
Item is useless if you do not have the air distribution box remote controller. In the package you will find an ADB included and (required) but not provided. Vendor doesn't mention this and you might get stuck with a very nice unit which is useless.

AC unit works well with both parts
Once you get all the parts it works great but it won't work until you get the inside which is your control if Amazon doesn't have the control for a docked system you should tell the buyer it took my almost two weeks to find one not very happy having to wait that long to get ac in my trailer worki g in the heat this unit should be sold with both parts and not separate
