It seems very secure and well-made. The lining is very padded, but doesn't take up too much space, which is perfect because I'm a uni student and I carry my laptop around everywhere. The pull out mesh bottle holder was useless and very flimsy. White marks over the outside of the bag. The front pocket was uneven. The bag I received looked used. I know that the loose cotton ends wouldn’t make a difference to the function but it’s a sign of the attention to detail and overall quality. Sent back the next day.
