They are comfortable for me throughout the day, but Im indoors most of the day and outside once in awhile. I would purchase again as they feel cushioned, but are not overly thick and still offer some breathability. **Q: Do these sock have stringy things in them? I've bought socks before that toenails catch on fr strings inside.** A: There are no inside strings inside this sock that will catch toe nails. **Q: I wear a size 6 shoe. The socks are about 2 plus inches past my toe...way too big. Do they shrink or do i send them back. I ordered size 6-9.** A: I bought my mom the size 4-6 she says they fit perfectly. She wears a size 6 shoe **Q: How high are they on calf** A: I bought size 9 to 12 since I take a size 9.5 to 10 shoe. Socks are usually uncomfortable for me—they tend to slide down my calf and bunch under my arch—but these stay in place all day. I wear them for 12-hour shifts and they’ve kept my feet warm and comfortable in temperatures ranging from -10 to 20 degrees. They don’t slip, don’t bunch, and feel supportive without being tight. The only thing to note is that they’re on the warmer side, so I probably wouldn’t choose them for hot weather—but for winter work boots, they’ve been excellent. I chose black for work, but there were plenty of color options, and I’d consider buying the more colorful packs for everyday wear.
