However, it's not possible to hold the comb "flat against your head," per the instructions, when it is on the top of your head. Your head is more or less round, and the comb is not. So, some of the teeth don't touch your head. It's fine on the sides of your head; it lays flat. Also, the comb I received doesn't buzz or vibrate when it's time to move it but I'm not going to send it back. I can judge the time and divide the three areas by 8 minutes--the amount of time for the whole treatment.
