Well I ordered it because I like the brand and it’s cordless but yes it is a good buy and I like it.

Still going strong. It does get hot under constant use . Get the big battery if you can swing it

Bought this to sharpen the blades on my lawn mower and anything else I might need a grinder for. Works great and haven’t had any problems with it

But I have truly never had a problem with the Ryobi tools that can share the batteries. This angle grinder is no exception to that rule. I was alarmed when I pulled the pieces out of the box and could not find the tool needed to take off the cover piece and remove a disc until I realized Ryobi made it so easy to store - in the handle! No losing the tool if you tuck it back in the slot on the handle after use! The tool itself worked flawlessly the first time I used it. I had a pair of sheet metal that needed cut down (from 30x30 inches to 26x26 inches) to make the metal the proper size for my project - I am removing my minibus' ceiling emergency exit and replacing it with a smaller RV ceiling fan. The size of the sheet metal covers the exit's larger hole with enough overlap so the ceiling fan has a solid surface both on the outside as well as the inside. I also had to cut the square openings in each piece of sheet metal that will seat the outer portion of the RV ceiling fan as well as the inside portion of the ceiling fan (which is basically just a frame that screws onto the outer portion of the fan plus screws onto the sheet metal. The thin metal cutting disc on this angle grinder cut my sheet metal nice and clean and I'm so pleased with being able to get this part of my bus project further to being ticked off as done. Thanks to my Ryobi angle grinder!

Ich nutze den Ryobi R18AG-0 jetzt seit einiger Zeit für verschiedene Arbeiten rund ums Haus und bin absolut zufrieden. Trotz Akkubetrieb hat der Winkelschleifer überraschend viel Power – egal ob beim Trennen von Metallrohren, Entrosten oder Schleifen von Steinen, er arbeitet zuverlässig und sauber. Das Gerät liegt sehr gut in der Hand, ist ausbalanciert und durch das kompakte Design auch in engen Bereichen gut einsetzbar. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass man den Handgriff in drei Positionen montieren kann – perfekt für Rechts- und Linkshänder. Der Scheibenwechsel funktioniert dank der Spindelarretierung schnell und unkompliziert, und der verstellbare Schutz lässt sich ohne Werkzeug anpassen. Auch die Laufzeit ist mit einem 4,0 Ah-Akku ordentlich – für längere Arbeiten reicht ein Ersatzakku völlig aus. Ich nutze bereits mehrere Geräte aus dem Ryobi One+ System, und auch hier zeigt sich wieder, wie praktisch es ist, denselben Akku für alles zu verwenden. Fazit: Ein leistungsstarker, handlicher und zuverlässiger Akku-Winkelschleifer, perfekt für Heimwerker und ambitionierte Bastler. Klare Kaufempfehlung! 🔧⚡️
