Raytech Magic Gel 1000 Sealant

Slimey and water tight. Smashing job

Had to replace a non-outdoor cable that had been buried and inevitably rotted tripping the house . Replaced with the correct run of SWA. A joint in the pond was inevitable. Worked a treat. Been running fine for close to a year. Cable is in an underwater spec enclosure but this provides an extra layer of protection if seals perish etc

Used this to pour over the electrical connections my driveway lights were using and it did set well like a soft jelly. Keeping the water out and keeping the connections electrically isolated. I’d use this again in the future.

Used this to fill a number of junction boxes in the garden to improve their rating - so far they have held the water out. Easy to use and stores on the shelf well until you need to use it again.

A great product, easy to use and provides a very waterproof box when set. However in cold conditions be prepared to double the indicated setting time.

The product is excellent, isolates and waterproofs the junction box perfectly, but mix only enough for a single junction box at a time and make sure the junction box is prepped for the pour, as this sets instantly. Once it’s in jelly form, if it’s not in the junction box it’s no use, as it won’t seal it or stay in the box. Beyond this it’s great and easy to use, so still deserves the full five stars. Used in all my garden lights with buried junction boxes and no issues so far.

Certes, le prix peut sembler élevé, mais la tranquillité d'esprit qu'il procure en vaut largement la peine. Je recommande vivement ce gel à tous ceux qui cherchent une solution fiable et durable pour l'étanchéité de leurs connexions électriques.

Tras un siniestro en una caja de luz del jardín saneé todo el cableado y sustituí la caja. Para mayor seguridad agregué el magic-gel en el interior de la caja y gracias a su viscosidad no se salió por los conos de la caja de empalmes y quedó perfectamente aislado todo el cableado. He probado otros productos de otras marcas de reconocido nombre y me quedo con esta por precio y calidad de producto. Evaluaré más adelante que tal envejece el gel con el tiempo.

It seems to be a great product. Container is not completely fluid tight so is is a little messy.
