BRIKSMAX 2.0 Light Kit for Lego Tudor Corner Building Sets-Innovative Led Lighting Compatible with Lego Icons 10350 Building Sets (Not Included Lego Set)

This is the first lighting kit I purchased from this seller. I have purchased from others and this kit is very well thought out and the folks have gone the extra mile to add bricks (Not LEGO) that make it much easier to run the wiring and add lights to lamps and such. The connectors are small and sometimes hard to connect, but they are well made and I love the way they do the overhead lights for the rooms. These kits are not for the inexperienced folks, with their small connections this is the most difficult part of the assembly. Once mastered the kit goes together easily. Have already ordered one for the Police Station.

My wife has made 6 different flower arrangements from lego. To challenge her abilities at 74 yrs old, I bought this corner building to encourage her use of mind and skills. About 1/5 of the way done, but it's the center of every thing, constantly in the instructions and adding a piece. The best buy for her in yrs. and at 55 yrs. married that says a lot. Worth every cent in our minds.

The new style is really nice, really like the way the levels connect, the old wire was a pain.

If I could give it a negative number, I would! Do not buy this product. It’s the most ridiculous excuse for Lego lights. It took me hours to put my Lego build back together after spending hours trying to put these lights in. I should have known when it had instructions book part one and then a number two. There were about 20 little sealed bags with tiny little pieces. The directions were ridiculous, even YouTubed it and followed along with book and still couldn’t figure it out. Some of the pieces didn’t fit right but you don’t know that until you string all those wires through all the Legos you removed, then put back together, only it doesn’t fit right and all your Lego pieces are coming apart. The most horrible experience I’ve had, EVER!!! 5 hours I’ll never get back!

Briksmax is typically my go-to for lighting my modulars. Their kits have a consistent, soft look that make my city street feel like a real city street. However the BX700 Tudor Corner light kit misses the mark due to their use of light strips. Including the B110 Warm white silicone strip feels like it wasn't well thought through, 1) it changes the look of the build when the lights aren't lit, 2) when lit it draws your attention to it and is distracting as the brightest light on my city street, 3) finally the light strips were placed around a corner so they don't stick! The only good news is they are completely unnecessary, and the build looks great without them, so I just took 'em off. If this was where it stopped I wouldn't bother writing a review. The B91 light strips around the 3rd floor windows aren't as awful as the B110s, but they look like Christmas lights, which doesn't match my town, again which uses primarily Briksmax lights. They would have been better using the single A04 white light like they do around the small window on the side. The trouble is I can't easily remove these as that area needs to be lit to highlight the beautiful roofline, so now I need to find how to buy some more A04 lights with the Briksmax 2.0 connector, as the existing ones I have are the old connector. This is the first time I bought Briksmax and wished I'd bought a competitor instead. I used Briksmax 2.0 on the Botanical Gardens and the look matches the modular city well, so I'm optimistic this one set was just a miss.

Fun toy

Luci bellissime, i mattoncini forati assicurano di vedere meno i fili ma non li nascondono del tutto soprattutto sulla parte dell'orologio. La tenuta del biadesivo delle strisce led è di pessima qualità e si stacca dopo appena un giorno. Ho dovuto metterci io del biadesivo di qualità superiore per sistemare il problema.

Ich habe mir das Lichtset für das Eckhaus im Tudorstil geholt und muss sagen, es wertet das Modell optisch enorm auf. Die Lichter bringen richtig Atmosphäre und setzen das Haus besonders im Dunkeln toll in Szene. Positiv ist, dass alle Kabel und Teile gut verarbeitet sind und die Anleitung verständlich aufgebaut ist, sodass der Einbau ohne große Probleme klappt. Etwas negativ finde ich, dass man beim Einbau sehr vorsichtig arbeiten muss, da die Kabel recht dünn sind und leicht knicken können. Außerdem wäre ein kleines Netzteil im Lieferumfang praktisch gewesen. Fazit: Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die ihr LEGO Eckhaus zum echten Hingucker machen wollen.
