I love Sun Bum products and use everything from their sunscreens to hand sanitizers. This is my first Sun Bum tinted chapstick. The SPF works, I wore it on a cruise to Mexico and my lips never got chapped, the color looked great and stayed put for a while, even while drinking and eating. That said it arrived dry and just got worse and worse. It's now basically a lip balm paste with chunks in it, something that often happens with other SPF lip products. I have to rub aggressively with my finger to get the chapstick on, then rub it aggressively on my lips for it to transfer. Still looking for a tinted balm with SPF that isn't super dry and chunky. I'm not sure if the product was old and just sitting in the warehouse a while, but was hoping for something better.***UPDATE*** I have discovered this chapstick gets chunky and kind of gritty when it's cold, but becomes buttery again once it heats up a bit. I like to use it both in the summer and during the winter time in sunny snow conditions, so I've taken to shoving it in a pocket with a handwarmer before use in colder weather. Now that I have found a solution it works great ;)

Each of these are a great product (i used raisin hell before this review) and depending on the skin tone of your lips, they can range from looking like makeup to unrecognizable. But they last long.The only problem is that they tend to leave marks on whatever you eat or drink, such as silverware, cup lips, straws, you get the picture.But overall, I'd definitely buy this again when I run out

I got sand bar thinking it would be a nice nude shade. It’s straight orange on my lips. It’s also super thick and gritty in texture and smells like sunscreen. I expected a slight coconut scent but it’s really strong.

Color was ok. Smell was terrible. If you’re sensitive to smell, I would skip.

Other are right, it taste like chuck and it's hard to apply. Does not apply smoothly.

I’m very picky when it comes to lip products. This is one of my favorites to have on hand, especially in the summer. It has a beautiful pink tint, moisturizes, and protects my lips!
