The other side has a red and a green wire that's your positive in your ground. **Q: Could have done a better job of sealing those red wires, eh?** A: Mine were sealed fairly well but I can understand how one or two sub par units could slip through quality control. **Q: Can it be used to make an electrostatic precipitator?** A: I’m not sure it would supply sufficient current although you wouldn’t need much. This device will pulse positive DC in a square way resembling AC but it isn’t so if you presented a large enough ground plane you could theoretically remove particulates by charging the gas/particles dc positive and collect them on your ground dc negative plane. Similar to those “ionic” air filters.
